This isn't about this particular game, just a general thought: take leadership more often in ml and mt jo turbo. In any format with creature banks it's going to do work. I get that you will never know the real impact of the skill because mismorales and morales are random, but it's a way to at the very least ensure your power stacks will all be playing the game with you on every turn in the finalka. Without leadership it often feels like you're rolling the dice going into the endgame, just like with ill-timed wait turns you often end up surrendering your initiative for no gain. Having watched many single-hero games, these seem like your biggest weak spots.
@@omfgacceptmyname I know, I just happen to think it's one of the factors that make his games uneven. He doesn't care that much about the score, but he could be sitting in the hota lobby top 10 with his skills; however, he allows these random game mechanics to unduly influence his results most of the time. With morale, as the poster above said, the reward is that you don't miss turns, not that you get something extra (which you can, but it's random). That should be good enough when you know that the format will have you fighting with a hodgepodge of factions from creature banks or diplos.
Actually, nivvmizzet was cooking something. Could you retreat from finalka since poormaning is an option in the format? You both basically depleted your armies and theoretically if you could scramble some way to get army it was still anyones game

Yes. Leadership is not about getting extra action but not loose an action which can destroy your game.
@@blackwidow7804 Of course the question always is what to avoid instead (except interference?).
lexi historically has disrespected morale :

He will never learn it. He still doesn’t pick up anti moral item literally next to him, and gets fucked by moral 2 minutes later

40:00 Bathory?
why did you give Genova a gnome instead of a centaur?
because she is being deleted after her moves run out in day 1, he values centaurs more than the slow dwarves
