I’m 22 and at times I feel exactly the same. Tallah is amazing and has been helping me in my current dark time. 15 can be a very tough age but I assure you that things will get better and the darkness will not take control of you forever. Keep your head up, do what makes your happy, and listen to Tallah. 👍🏼🤘🏼
I think Tallah have a lot of potential , have a lot of sounds inspired by other bands but already creating there own sound from that . Fun fact there drummer is Max Portnoy , son of ex dream theatre drummer Mike .
@@nathandjohnnyHe actually came back. Max also frequently plays drums for Code Orange. When that happens, Tallah gets fill in drummers. And, Max has been playing bass live instead of drums.
Interesting that you mentioned Code Orange since Max is now drumming for them too. Tallah songs often take me a few listens to really click because there is so much going on, but when that happens those usually have much higher replay value in the long run.
Love Tallah so much got into em during their first ep and have grown so much, song writing keeps getting better and better. Would be cool to see you guys interview em one day!
fun fact about the title, it's actually not a James Bond reference but a League of Legends one, Justin explained that during Nik Nocturnal's friday stream
Fun fact (8 months late), but Justin said in a livestream (I think it was the Hungry Lights 1st album 5 year anniversary stream) that he didn't know who Mike Patton was until people told him he took inspiration from him, but he was flattered
Of their latest releases this one is my favorite! 🤘🏻🔥 Really looking forward to the album. James Bond’s drink is a Vodka Martini, shaken not stirred…just so you know. 😉🤙🏻
I was not a nu metal guy back in the day and o honestly wouldn’t consider this nu metal (like many say) this is just unique in a world of clone metal bands with the same vocals and same constant 16 nots dbl bass. Zzzzzzz this is fresh
I’m pretty sure that the transition from the melodic chorus back to the heavies is influenced by the intro for the song Dig by Mudvayne. Prrrrretty sure…
This band needs to work with Ross Robinson as a producer. 👍 Not complaining, just would love to see how Ross pushes Tallah like he pushed Korn back in the day.
Its a truly talent song and the vocals show a huge range, i loved most of the song but the bridge before the breakdown turned me off a bit the tones and melody in that section maybe me think 'ahh this doesn't mix well' but other then that its a creative an unique song and will add it to my playlist
Alright I'm checking that band out, that was so unrelenting, he just wouldn't stop going!!!! Johnny's accents just make me laugh, they're just downright dumb lol
Of the 3 singles thus far, I liked this one the least. That said, I still liked it a lot, and the breakdown was disgusting, but it just didn’t grab me as quickly as The Impressionist and Telescope. I think I need to let this one breathe a bit.
Tallah music is a good representation of my emotions at 15 years old. All over the place. Chaotic. Dark.

Didn’t know that!

So glad u checked these guys out. My favourite band! Love this song

19 second gutteral btw 🫠
In this metal music industry, we have here the most unique voice who can modulate her voice low and high as clean. My respect Justin.
The drummer, Max, is the son of Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold) and is also now the drummer of Code Orange too!

It’s funny you mentioned Mike Patton, because it wasn’t Faith No More I was thinking of, but his other band Mr. Bungle.
Gunning for my album of the year
I think Johnny really enjoyed this one because he had his headset the correct way round!
Hahahaha
Of their latest releases this one is my favorite! 🤘🏻🔥 Really looking forward to the album.

Yay! 🖤👏🏻
His vocals at times really remind me of Chester Bennington
True story; Max saw him cover LP’s “Given Up” on TH-cam and he knew he wanted him for the band.
If you said that impression was the Grinch, I'd have been really impressed 👀
Hahaha

Finding out about Mike Patton made the bad accents worth it in the end 👌

i haven't seen anyone mention that almost 20 second guttural at the end
Hooooooly shit that ending
Gooooooodmoooooorniiiiiing Vieeeeeetnaaaaaaaaaaaammm
I love you guys.
💙
Suggestion
Atoma - then came the wave
And Their new song
Atoma - Divina
That sounds like Peter Griffin trying to sound Scottish
Hahahahaha
I hear a little bit of Mudvayne in their sound... (the riff it's very close to Dig imho)
You’re not the first to mention that
Love you guys!! DRUGS dropped an album this year would love to hear you guys take on it!
We’ve done a few to the singles but we don’t do full albums
Man I haven't heard highs like that since mitch 🖤🖤🌹
Nice touch on the thumbnail.
Thank you
Great song! Great reaction! For the Fallen Dreams just released a new music video and it’s a banger if y’all are interested.

They’ve been working with Josh Schroeder, who also works with King 810 and Lorna Shore.
as for the mad science vibe, the concept for the album is just that. read their descript its dope
Unrelenting, all over the place, and dark. I like my music like I like my soul, dark and intense 😂🤣. This one’s a banger for sure.
🤣🤘🏽

The bridge might be my favorite part, very different for them and it was executed really well.
You should react to bitter by archers!
Can you react to Ethel Cain’s - Ptolemaea?
Can y’all please react to Can’t Swim 🖤 love y’all’s reviews
When they drop something new we will!

No this is a bunch of weird noices becoming a song…sorry not for me
having ur own personal taste is fine but insulting the song ain't cool man
