A batteries as a whole are primarily used not as swappable batteries, but as integrated battery cells in more complex devices like older laptops and battery packs. As a consequence of being used nearly exclusively as a built-in part of a device, unrechargable A batteries are very rare in general: basically a long-term power supply in inherently disposable or low-consumption devices. Meanwhile rechargable A batteries are more common by comparison. All kinds of them have become less and less common over the years, as fewer devices use that particular size, but most kinds of A batteries can still be found in electronics repair stores.

They are slightly taller (+2.5mm) and very slightly thinner (-0.5mm) than AA batteries.
I saw a character sound alike about a guy impersonating that were vampire that is assessed with counting from the Muppets and he basically went like "one Mexican two Mexican three Mexican! Triple kill ah ah ah" 19:48 kind of related with this just wanted to tell
