The robot "I fix" bit reminds me somewhat of the start of 17776, which is unquestionably the most emotionally crushing calendar in fiction

It's by Jon Bois. I don't want to say more than that so that nothing is spoiled, but I will at least promise that you don't need to have any interest in American football to enjoy it. At least, I don't have any interest in the sport and loved the story

You know I suddenly feel that dragons are actually a form of spontaneous life, manifesting near precious metals.
The size, power and intelligence of dragons vary by the amount of precious metal they oversee. Although dragons will survive, albeit in a weakened state, without a horde.
This is also why they can sense when even a single coin is stolen, because they feel they’re power being sapped
Loose change on the ground rarely gives rise to tiny thumb-sized dragons.
When opening old safes, it is advised to shake or bang upon the safe and then step aside as you open it, as to not get in the way of the escaping bat-sized dragons.
This also makes dragons an inevitable part of any treasury.
Smaller banks and local treasuries may choose to tame the a horse-sized dragon and keep it for the purposes of security or transport.
State treasuries may have to strike deals with the greater-dragon of their vault, and may even incorporate them into state functions due to their great intelligence.
Dragons make excellent generals, economic advisers, etc, and It is not unheard of for a state to be ruled by such a greater-dragon.
Perhaps it is even a part of the mythology that one dragon, coming to understand that it’s metals came from the ground, had dug and slithered down for a hundred years and come upon the core of the Earth.
The ancient-dragon of incomprehensible size and wisdom, now forming a layer of the Earth, eternally wrapped about it’s horde.

@@draconicalaanddrakner3261 It's easier to understand if you replace "joking" with "lying" (the logic remains the same). In a statement like "I'm not lying. (I am.)" It is clear that you are lying about not lying. So you are in fact lying. No logical contradiction. The other case (I'm joking/jk) is "I'm lying. (lie)". If yo are in fact lying about lying, then you are telling the truth, but if you are telling the truth, then you ARE lying. This is a classic infinite-loop logic paradox.

The moon attacks Earth, after giving birth to an immortal blond woman, and is only beaten by a mage who steals power from infinite timelines. As a final act against the mage, the moon makes him a vampire.

I was 10 when Pompeii by Bastile came out and I don't remember the context in which I first watched the music video, I feel like it was for 5th grad guitar class but at the same time that doesn't seem right, all I remember is that the video wad creepy and weirded me out and confused me so much at the same time. I had no idea what was going on or why
I think the fact that my art skills are bad is a compliment on my moral character. After all, surely any higher powers out there would've learned their lesson about giving bad art skills to bad people after WW2.

11:54, Honestly, the whole "some people don't know how to have fun" thing reminds me of most modern fandoms. Seems like whenever a film or series or game comes out these days, nobody wants to enjoy it. They just search for whatever imperfections they can find to denounce it as trash.

Legends: Arceus had a bit of a mix of Gen 8 graphics complaining lightly salted with Gen 5's classic "It's too different/weird"...
Scarlet and Violet is near perfect with the issue of a lot of minor bugs that a lot of people barking up the wrong tree about it...
@@ExcalibeonSwordofEeveelutions Sc/Vi is a bit bland and lifeless in the world design. If it wasn't an open world game and had half the area needed to be modeled, it probably would have looked a lot better. There's not a whole lot there to actually allow you to explore to your heart's content early on as a lot of areas are pretty much level gated by having spawns at fixed levels. Again, something that wouldn't have been an issue if it wasn't an open world game. The main issue is that it's both an open world game, and it had less than a year to develop an HD game with a smaller crew because of the team working on Arceus. The games issues come from being overly ambitious with a strict deadline that was way too soon.

It's clear the games had a decent base, but just lacked the needed polish!
I hope that one day that they have another sorta Orange Islands section of the anime again, simply a filler region focusing on old pokemon to give the next games more time in development!

Give TPC some time to rest and recover from pretty close to 10 months of pure crunch, as they're clearly talented people considering that, while Sc/Vi had a lot of problems, most of them revolved around the game needing at least another month of work to polish it.
If they had another 2-3 months, the game probably would have been considered one of the best 3d games, if not one of the best in the series, they just didn't have the time. Or if they had a larger, trained team. They could have delegated more areas to more specific groups, so that it wouldn't be 2-ish dozen modelers making the entire map and another hundred pokemon in just a year.
With any luck, GameFreak and TPC will get back on the right foot and experiment with their games and models, and bring life back into the series, rather than rushing out games on increasingly tight deadlines to fill out for the next season or series of the anime.

about the 6v6. You can probably win a 2v6 vs an AI. The one pkmn with Shedtail + a Shedninja with Terra electric + air ballon. So unless you specifically got a counter for that. (basically only mold breaker or infiltrator + status move) You will lose.
Hell, you could probably 1v6 it with Smeargle.
To be fair the ai will always bet a starcraft player. Those bloody buggers are going at 70,000+ actions per MINUTE and fastest human I believe was 10,000 for like 5 seconds.
@Noah Hammond that's cuz they control every single unit individually instead of as a group. So an army of 60 marines stutterstepping would be like 300 apm for a human but an ai would be like 15 000
