These things were complete hellspawns and nightmares. And I LOVE them!
This is one of the few things from the movie franchise that compare to the novel in terms of scary.
Actually this thing only appeared in the telltale game Jurassic Park, it didn't appear in any movies.
@@the_death_phantom533 Yes but the game is supposed to have a direct link with the movieverse
@@austroliantoraptor_4914 It was supposed to have a link with the movieverse but now it's not canon, because the game came before Jurassic World was made but when Jurassic World released it contradicted things from the game and thus not making the game canon.
@@the_death_phantom533 Technically the game is still cannon, just only a few parts. It's in a similar situation to Trespasser where some parts are considering non-cannon by the community due to the movies having different plot points that basically make the game's plot not valid anymore in some aspect. That's why in Trespasser we don't take the Staff Village for granted but we do consider the "7 Tyrannosaurus Rex being bred on Isla Sorna" which Hammond speaks about mid-game after an encounter with one. The same applies for JPTG, in the end of the game they say they're bombing the island which ended up not being true, but the Mt. Sibo which was an aspect incorporated from the novel, ended up being incorporated to JWFK thus, these games can be resumed in "soft-cannon". It's widely accepted by the community that these are still linked to the movieverse nonetheless, the Amber Mine team for example, you can checkout their Discord if you want more info
All aboard!
Oh, wait. Wrong Troodon.
What do you mean "Wrong Troodon?"
@@The_AmberMineIn a kid's show called Dinosaur Train, the conductor of said train is a Troodon. One of his lines is All Aboard
Oh, news to me
Yeah, this one's way less friendly.
All aboard the dinosaur train
One of the most terrifying genetic monsters of the Jurassic franchise
Sadly... In reality it's no longer a real dinosaur. It was nice knowing you Troodon
Not really. We arent sure whether or not the original specimen of Troodon (a tooth) represents a unique species or a another species that we are already aware of. For that reason Troodon is Dubious and not Invalid. it may become Invalid or Valid depending on future discoveries.
@@theredlindworm732 Well a tooth isn't good enough and that goes for Siamosaurus too. Not enough to prove they are their own species. And like these two, they are considered and widely accepted as dubious
@@theredlindworm732 Now yes, maybe a tooth is actual proof Troodon is a unique species and can become valid again, but my understanding, as well as everyone elses, and even paleontology, Troodon is a nomen dubium
Edit: And again, just like Siamosaurus. A tooth?! That's not good enough at all. At least Dracorex and Stygimoloch were considered valid with skeletons that could've back it up (I really hope they are, they're considered potentially dubious so they're both not officially dubious. I hope, I really do hope)
@@damienbastings I never said a tooth was enough I stated that as a singuler tooth is all we know of we arent entirely sure whether or not its a unique species and thus calling it Troodon is dubious until proven otherwise
@@theredlindworm732 Being based on a single tooth isn't helpful. Not a species, it is no longer valid
Damn mr.conductor changed
Universal and Collin Trevarrow really should take notes from these.
Thank you, we strive to get as accurate information as possible
Very good video. I love the old vhs feeling.
Assuming these videos are meant to played during tours, I guess Ingen didn't want to tell guests what happens after the Troodon's venom makes you braindead.
Easily one of my favorite dinosaurs in the franchise.
On the Tour, in the Visitor Center, Aviary, Marine Facility and The 3 hotels.
If you remember the game correctly, InGen didn't know about it. It was something Dr. Sorkin discovered while researching them in private.
Awesome!!
Could by grat if in a future video from the Jurassic World era, you talk about his variant of troodon
Jeannie the troodon from Jurassic world live tour
That’s not even the worst part after you are paralyzed they lay eggs inside you while your alive
You've heard of kill it with fire, especially for creatures, like the assimilating and shapeshifting Thing.
For Troodon from JP, fire isnt enough.
It calls for WW1 mustard gas (protection equipment included) fired from a modified flamethrower. I'm not taking chances with this thing. Mustard gas would be far more effective than any bullet (unless its a tank-shell) shotgun round or flamethrower when dealing with rampaging dinosaur carnivores. It immediately goes to work on dissolving the lungs.
I really hope Survival mention these guys in some shape or form. And not just overwriting the events of the Telltale story
Velociraptor: 😒 *Huff* Those Troodons may have binocular night vision, venomous bite, and maybe smarter then us Raptors. 😏 But, they can’t open doors like us.🚪
They can crawl through vents though.
Id rather die then be taken alive by these things.
*Fantastic (👏)!*
I really like so much ❤️👍😎🦖
This is wmazing
Thank you!
hope that we get the chameleon carnotarus
You better be on the look out for this year's Scariest Dinos!
And then in canon this particular tape was deleted along with all documents/records cause of their background/appearance.
Exactly!
nice
Troodon
So do I need a specific version of the game to see these? I can't find them.
They are in Jurassic Park the Game, it's the main antagonist dinosaur of the game. Idk how you missed them.
@@The_AmberMine No I mean the whole Dinosaur profile video's. Are they just trailers for the game for something?
Oh, these are inspired by the ones created for the game.
Peak
IG74726f6f646f6e? Why does that sound very familiar?
I don't know, it was what this tape was labeled...
@@The_AmberMine At least I looked it up to find out why it sounded very familiar and I've found the answer, *suddenly makes a very not too pleased look on my face while being completely terrified in the process* And it's not a good one because IG74726f6f646f6e is the given Code name of, *swallows in fear* Troodon pectinodon from Telltale's Jurassic Park: The Game. *now starts overreact in deep fear* Why did it had to be Troodon pectinodon!?!? Why, why, why?!?!?!
This is where the fun begins
Pachycephalosaurus
Not quite
@@The_AmberMine *panics as I received a jumpscare from the Troodon pectinodon at the end of the video* HOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
