have no idea if they plan to retcon lore due to this, but in jurassic world alive there's an "accurate" spinosaurus using the aegypticus species so either it's JWA being JWA or the "spinosaurus" from the films is a different species (considering it's been seemingly confirmed to not be a hybrid)
We subtly reference our thoughts on it in the video. We believe InGen referenced previously cloned species/aDNA they had on hand to create what they thought dinosaurs looked like. This could explain the differences with the Spinosaurus we see in the movie and the fossil record.
Excellent video ! but i would just add the Ouranosaurus and Kentrosaurus seen in juraasic world evolution 2's jp3 chaos theory mode, since it's a "what if" scenario, which means it's based on the already existing timeline, we can assume it means those species existed !
I don’t know why Kentrosaurus and Ouranosaurus were on Sorna in JP3 Chaos Theory for JWE2, but I think the Kentro was included to represent baby Stegosaurus while the Ouranosaurus was included due to it being in JP3’s concept art
Personally I regard Ouranosaurus as being cloned in the testing. This is due to it being seen in concept art near the river and I will NOT let go of the idea of them in the boat, seeing a sail in the water and realizing that it was just an Ouranosaurus, and not the Spinosaurus.
@@BOb-lu3pc The art depicts three Ouranosaurs in the far left of the image on the riverbank. There is no image of them being mistaken for a Spinosaur, but I reckon the opportunity would’ve been too good to miss for Universal.
I already knew about Amalgam testing That's why I didn't ask where is Spino, JP3 Anky, Cerato and the Corythosaurus gen 4 Also now I know where did Mattel got the idea to make a Diplodocus lol
I do believe I read somewhere that the JP3 pteranodon had an extremely mutated genetic code which is why it has teeth and such a huge size for a pteranodon as you said it was almost as if it was an accident By the way I love these videos
I do have a question since the second pteranodon variant was created during the testing would you think that the JP3 raptors would be the same as it was definitely not cloned before 1997 as it was the lowland raptors that was cloned, or maybe something did evolve lol (the JP3 slogan) but I highly doubt that
Iirc the origin behind the Jp3 Raptor according to… someone at SWS (I wanna say Delgado but I’m not sure) said they were naturally evolved variants. But I know people don’t like this explanation cause there’s no way that animals can evolve that quickly.
I prefer this theory as yes the slogan does say something has evolved and it’s just like how pigs can quickly sort of adapt/evolve in a way to become more like their ancestors the wild boar if they ever get out in the wild, this happens very quickly as pigs are bred to grow quick for meat production which is the same as all the dinos have an accelerated growth cycle (dr states in Camp Cretaceous) so technically they can evolve quicker and if one has a genetic mutation that helps it sort of evolve into a more wild state then it can quickly spread into the entire population allowing for rapid evolution
I think the JP3'S Velociraptors were created in 1999. Theses velociraptors were pretty much Avian-Like, just like Biosyn's Dinosaurs. Biosyn was involved with the Project Regenesis.
In the Behind the Scenes videos Stan Winston’s team alluded to them being naturally evolved since the original batches that broke free after the abandonment of Isla Sorna.
But that's what they intended it to be, whether or not it seems logical or not. Macro evolution, or rapid adaptation of a species to a new environment is a normal thing that has been observed.
