Positive....musicstorelive.com/experience/staff-rigs-zachs-jerry-rig/ As Zach developed as a player, his love of music and The Grateful Dead continued to grow. He went through all the phases, as he puts it - learned a bunch of solos inside out (“Freebird, Hotel California, Sweet Home Alabama, all that”), went through a stint as a classical player, and played with a lot of different bands. But he always returned to Jerry’s soulful, organic sound. These days, Zach is the front man for Cats Under the Stars, one of the best (and busiest) Jerry Garcia cover bands in the country. “I play a custom replica of one of Jerry’s guitars. His luthier named Doug Irwin, who also did some work for Alembic, built him three guitars. The first one he got in ’72, and it ended up being called Wolf. So I have a replica of that - he used it from ’72 to ’78 I think. I’ve had it just over five years.”
I believe the two keyboards on the left because one is Melvins partner and one belongs to ROC and of course Melvin is playing the Hammond Organ on far right.
