Same cymbal set up as Chad the previous drummer but Shaun just plays it better. Cymbal setup was all the same until Ember when Shaun was finally able to alter things a bit. Just listen to the drums on Ember. Much more technically sound and at his speed. Ben finally let go of the reigns a bit and you can hear it in the new album.

I beg to differ. Lol Shaun is a good drummer, but Chad was extremely fluid in his playing and an amazing showman. I wish BB still had Chad.

If you dont know. Ben tells this tool what to play and when to play it! Chad was a much better drummer ,Jeremy was much better too. This clown could not hold up against them. He is just a Yes man for his boss, Benjamin. It's Ben's band now and the clown's just get paid to play.

Those effects don't really fit the context of Blow Me Away at all. The only one that somewhat fits, is the 808 sound to his right.

The sounds are taken straight from the actual recording sessions :)

Actually the slap bass sound was originally recorded by Breaking Benjamin's former bassist Mark James Klepaski although I could be wrong.
