I was going to make mention of his stamina, as well. Aside from not missing a beat, that was 14+ minutes of virtually nonstop sticking, mixed with numerous styles, entertainment, tips of the hat to those who preceded him, etc.! So, from a drummer of 35 years, I can say that the best part of this guy's performance, that many would overlook, is that he is playing pure acoustic, not mic'd up. He's just out in the open in an unfriendly acoustic environment, not running through a PA. That really makes a difference. Many of the coolest drum solos you will find on TH-cam are drummers with their full kit mic'd up. And regularly performing drummer will tell you how playing unmic'd leaves you totally exposed. Just you and the sound of your sticks hitting heads. Playing mic'd helps kind of blend the sounds, amplifies the sounds, makes your kick more prominent, and can cover mistakes. Not obvious mistakes of course, but just the overall wall of sound will make you sound better. Kind of like a guitarist soloing on an acoustic as opposed to using an electric guitar with effects.
As a drummer of 35 years you missed the mic on the bass. You don't need to mic if you're playing solo to a small audience.I think you're romanticizing it a little too much. I'm also a musician with 35 years under my belt.
Mike Portnoy? Simon Philips? Buddy Rich? This guy's chops or horrible. Don't even disgrace those fine drummers with this guys technique. He is obviously a one-trick pony. Can't you see past all his "flash", he has absolutely no defined stick control. He is an Eighties Hair Band rock drummer. He can entertain, and does wonderfully; but he is no Drummer's drummer.
Bro WHAT He doesn't have a gong but he has double bass and 3 rack toms, Bonham had single for both Not to take away from a "basic plus" kit being used to such full extent but I think you might be thinking Terry Bozzio or Neal Peart.
A good drummer is not easy to find. Last 5 year's I've felt like a member of Spinal Tap! To find a Drummer that is not only a musician but also an entertainer, very rare. Young man has some skill's!
This is the most entertaining drum solo I've ever seen in my live, this guys stamina and technical skills are off the charts, thank-you for being so creative and different. You made my day dude!!!!
What a show!) Both guys are real entertainers!))) The guy in yellow shirt is a great addition to the guy on drums, they both make the show logical and complete. And the drummer is a real blast.

electronic kit...mesh heads...seriously quiet option to rehearse. good luck
That is a small courtyard... No real need to mic
How nice of you to go drumming round the old people's homes..
It was wine party in the US.
I play for everybody, specially for good friends ;-)
This just proves that you don't need a John Bonham drum set-up to play great drums. This guys does SO much with SO little.
Thanks 🤘🥁🤘
Bro WHAT
He doesn't have a gong but he has double bass and 3 rack toms, Bonham had single for both
Not to take away from a "basic plus" kit being used to such full extent but I think you might be thinking Terry Bozzio or Neal Peart.
One of the best 16 mins of my life.
(breathing out) jjjyesss...
Fantastic!! Someone, this guy deserves to be touring with the best..... masterful.
@@eurobutscher1043 vielen Dank
A good drummer is not easy to find. Last 5 year's I've felt like a member of Spinal Tap! To find a Drummer that is not only a musician but also an entertainer, very rare. Young man has some skill's!
Roy Bishop - Also, find one that doesn’t spontaneously explode.
This is the most entertaining drum solo I've ever seen in my live, this guys stamina and technical skills are off the charts, thank-you for being so creative and different. You made my day dude!!!!
Thank you very much :-)
Wow what stick speed and control! What a showman and what an athlete! This guy should have his own venue like in Vegas with Blue Man Group.
Wow...absolut klasse Show!!!
LG...Toto
Vielen Dank 🤘🥁🔥
NO-ONE could have 'disliked' that. christmas eve & watching that- utter pure talent- thankyou so much mate
Thank you very much and Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄
I'm with you mate, what is there to dislike about that performance? It was amazing, funnily choreographed. I had a great time watching it.
Never seen anyone mix showmanship & complete & utter drumming skills like you did. Performance evaluation? 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you very much :-)
I am a drummer and a drum teacher and this is one of the best most entertaining drum solos I've seen. He entertained the crowd.
Amazing endurance, creativity, and ambitiousness. This is an iconic performance; one that all drummers should be proud of.
Thank you very much 😊
What a show!) Both guys are real entertainers!))) The guy in yellow shirt is a great addition to the guy on drums, they both make the show logical and complete. And the drummer is a real blast.
Thank you very much 😊
WOW, absolutely spectacular! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much 😊
Very entertaining and so well done. Fast hands, and the stick work is so good!
Thank you very much
Vielen Dank 🤘
Mein Gott er hats wirklich drauf.... Hätte die show gern mal abends gesehen
Thank god there’s a translate to English feature or I wouldn’t have been able to read your nice comments haha
Absolutely brilliant showmanship! Beautiful groove pocket all the way through! masterfully done! :) Thank you so much for posting this gem! :) All the best Barry Bangemout :)
Thank you very much 🤘🥁🤘
I was captivated from the beginning. But, five minutes in - STILL captivated !!! This solo kept me wondering what was gonna happen next !!! The "show" was AWESOME !!! LOVE the beat(s) and the rhythms displayed in this video !!! TYSM for sharing your talents !!! ENJOYED this solo ALOT !!! 😂😂😂
This was an amazing solo!! TEACH ME YOUR WAYS
Thats what happens when you buy your kit in installments. Entertaining. and sweet drumming too!
At the very beginning, I thought this was a joke, especially seeing how few drums he had, but jesus christ do I love when a musician can create many sounds out of a small number of instruments. The plastic bucket part is amazing.
Adam Baldwin s
He probably doesn't even need a bucket or sticks.
Needs more cow bell
Big respect for You man
That was one of the most amazing things i have ever seen!!! \m/
Thank you very much 😊
Show it to all your friends 🤘🤘🤘
Best drum solo ever done period. The guy with the yellow shirt is awesome to!.
Thank you very much 😊
My flabber is ghasted. This was the craziest drum PERFORMANCE that I have ever witnessed.
Que sorprendente Batero !!!!
Grande, magnífico, asombroso Rockero !!!
I didn't go thru all 1,650+ comments but enough to know that no one was courteous or curious enough to inquire of this amazing drummers name, or where he can be found. I've been a drummer since I was 12 y.o. (now 67) and have NEVER seen such talent, liquidity, awesome peddle work as this amazing human being just exhibited. How he avoided world fame is what aw's me. From Buddy to Bonzo are rollin' in their graves with such amazing workmanship combined with showmanship. Give us an atta-boy!!!! and do it again. Thanks Animal. Someone, anyone give us his I.D. Hey Ludwig, Slingerland, Ddrums, Yamaha, Gretch etc. Where's your sponsorship? Hey, Animal ... do you need an agent? WOW!!! Set the Drum world on fire.
Rick Lambert hey, Thank you very much!!!
My name is Harry Reischmann harry-reischmann.de
Firedrummer Official, Man you are killing it way more than so many !!! Deserve to inspire people because you really have a gift! I was looking for your name in the comments so I can follow your work! Respect from the depth of the small piece of space I am occupying for some time in this universe 🤟🏾🔥🍺☀️🌴
