      @@YouHaveControl great! I fancy another! Keep that engine in check, 503s are known to be more reliable especially with strict maintenance regimes.

      I remember coming with you to Parham to watch your father fly it in the mid 90’s.
      A truly awesome flying machine!

      @@YouHaveControl Hi Ben, 90 are still flying or in the process of being refurbished in the UK. 4 are in france of which I own 3 of them (1 was totalled, and 1 is being refurbised and 1 is flying) Another 1 is flying in the north. There are 4 or 5 in Ireland flying.There is 2 of them in NZ. Fibrelam is 2 sheets of fibreglass sandwiching a honey comb between. Manufactured by CIBA-Geigy in Duxford it was primarily used for the floorboard on commercial aircraft and initially for concord.
      Some tips, the TO was too long it should be airborne at around 50 m. Landing speed was to high, aim to touch down at around 45 knots, and keep the nose up, she will stop after around 30 m roll. Most important is protect the nosewheel.

    What about reliability, it is British made.
