Yeah I had some fans going because it was a hot day and honestly couldn't afford a nice lavalier mic at the time. I've since gotten a new camera and a mic setup and hopefully I'll be doing some more videos soon.
Thanks for the video, that was the content I was looking for as I am looking into getting a Vevor! I ran the audio through Da Vinci Resolve voice isolation first, otherwise the background noise is really bad... :)
I know this is an old video, but how do you mount it to the bench , are there only two kinda cut out bits back and front ? I just literally bought this particular one , my first mill.
Is that built where you can totally disassemble it, take the top and bottom loose from the sides, remove the rollers and all? Vevor does not have a mill with rollers as long as I need to do what I want so I wondered if I could rebuild one to suit my purpose. Thanks man
Sorry for the late reply. I ended up giving that to a friend getting into metal working and bought myself a durston. It served its purpose and got me by for a little while, but I really felt that I needed something better after a few months of use.
Hi Duke! It has some issues. I'm actually planning on doing an update on it in the next few weeks. There are some issues with the finishing on the gears. They get stuck. It also doesn't allow for rolling of larger stock. I found myself having to cast smaller ingots to roll. The handle is also too short in my opinion. Not enough leverage. At the moment I'm not exactly thrilled with it but it works well once the the stock is rolled small enough.
I used it for about 6 months. It worked fine. I came into some extra cash and upgraded to a durston though. If you're on a tight budget and need a mill this is a pretty good option
Yeah I apologize for the noise. It was hot in my shop that day and I didn't have a lavalier set up yet. I've since gotten one but haven't had time to do any videos. Hopefully I'll be back at it soon
There might be some good information to glean here, but it will have to be delivered visually and not via audio. I bet you’re tired of hearing why people just move along when they hear the noise in the background and find no closed captioning available. I’m another of those people. Byeeee…
Thank you for the video. Very well done. Would you guide me please? I am a woodworker and very occasionally would like to add copper or brass as inlays into my wood products. Perhaps like finished accent trim. The pressed thickness of metal I need is about 5 mill or less. What machine should I look at? Also, where to buy the brass/copper/silver wire? Here is a short youtube vid of how Id like to finish some of my projects. th-cam.com/video/arWUZ4Gdcvs/w-d-xo.html Thanks so much for your help. Joe
This mill did struggle with things that were 5 mm. It got me by for a little while. If you can afford a nicer one, I recommend either Pepe tools or durston. I myself got a durston. I just recently got a comment from someone saying they got a defective Mill from vevor. Apparently the customer service left a lot to be desired. I had a pretty good experience with this Mill. I did upgrade it pretty quickly though.
Yeah it was hot and I had fans going. Didn't have a good mic setup at the time. Hoping to get back to doing videos soon. Got a lav mic and a new camera. Hopefully it was still helpful
Would have been nice if we could have heard what you were saying. 😳

Hello! Can I ask you which screw or bolt you used to fasten the rolling mill to the counter? Thanks!
Thanks for making this video. Useful info. Cheers.

I'm sure you could disassemble it but there aren't any parts for it that I'm aware of. I never tried to fully disassemble it so I'm not 100% sure
Hi 👋 Do you know which rolling mill machine would make flat wire 0.3mm x 1mm, 0.5mm x 1mm?
Hi, this one we have stock in California warehouse.
how do you feel about this mill 2 years later?
Sorry for the late reply. I ended up giving that to a friend getting into metal working and bought myself a durston. It served its purpose and got me by for a little while, but I really felt that I needed something better after a few months of use.
I needed this xD
Would it have been a better idea to pick the thing up and go some room where you can be heard??
Find another review to watch or turn the volume up. Easy solutions
“Mike? Hello? Is there a mike in the house? Has anybody seen a mike? No? Okay thank you..”
?
He is referring to the volume of the video...LOL..@@codydagutis6639
Hello Cody...what are your thoughts on the
Vevor rolling mill thus far...

I just bought first thing was textured a piece of copper. Came out great. Textured with a cupcake pattern. I’d never had used a mill b4
This was a great mill for the time I had it. Did everything I needed until I got my Durston Mill. Enjoy!
I'm looking for some information on rolling Mills but I couldn't get through your video because your audio is so jacked
Thanks so much for the video! Have you used this rolling mill with texture plates?
I actually haven't tried texture plates at all yet. Seems like it would handle them just fine though
Hey, has it lasted well?
I used it for about 6 months. It worked fine. I came into some extra cash and upgraded to a durston though. If you're on a tight budget and need a mill this is a pretty good option
Thanks for the video and info on the mill. Please wear a microphone. Would make it that much better. Cheers

Too much background noise

Nice video, but worst audio ever
Yeah I was running a few fans because it was hot as hell. Got a better mic setup but I haven't had a chance to do any videos haha
