Sleeping pills isn't a regular form of treatment but some people take sleeping pills to try and regulate a sleep cycle, but it doesn't always work. But if it's not sleeping pills, it could be another type of pill that treats narcolepsy. just my guess.

I NEED YOU MV 19+ Just my opinion, but I really don't think any of them died in this MV because they were all together in the end. I think that's the message of this MV, despite their problems they still had each other's friendship and support and that's what got them through. I also think that they were given second chances as well depending on what their situation was. I believe Jin lost someone (hence the flowers) he struggled with depression but he didn't die. Suga also lost someone and burned the hotel room but I also believe he didn't die. Jhope dealt with depression and was abusing prescription pills and nearly overdosed and collapsed on the bridge but woke up (given a second chance) which is why I think he didn't die either. Plus you see him pouring the pills into the fire pit so I believe that's his resolve of his issue. Jimin is also depressed over the loss of someone (he has a letter/paper that reminds him of someone in his past) and this causes him pain so he tries to drown himself but it doesn't work (given second chance) because you see him outside of the tub shivering and also in the tub crying above water in the end, like Jhope he burns the paper or letter and cries (his resolve of his issue). I believe Jungkook is a runaway teen and because he accidentally bumps hoodlums on the street while he's lost in his own world, they beat the shit out of him and he almost gets hit by a car but I don't believe he died either (given second chance) also he's seen in the end with the others. Rap Monster works at a gas station pumping people's gas. I see his problem as his struggle with his job and maybe money too. You can see the struggle and disrespect of his job when the money is thrown out the window to him. I don't think the gas station blew up, I think him dropping the cigarette on the money was his own way of not letting the struggle of it all get him down. So I don't think he died either. V's situation is kind of uncertain to me. He's going through a tough time in his life. Its unclear to me whether the two people in the room are an ex-girlfriend and abusive new boyfriend or his mom and abusive dad (can't see the girl well but the guy looks older to me). I want to think it was his family because the door was open and that was his destination he went to so I'm unsure but I want to say it was his home. Anyway he walks in and sees the guy hitting the girl and he snaps and hit the guy in he head with a soju bottle and then stabs him repeatedly with the jagged edges. There was blood so I assume the man is dead but Idk because the girl stopped him before he could do more. I'm not sure what V's resolve is maybe it's the regret he felt afterwords and that the girl is safe now. As far as the police goes what happens to V is unclear. But he didn't die. You see a lot of happiness with V and the rest of BTS so I think being with them makes things better for him. I think that goes for everyone. Being a Bangtan boy really makes them happy and they enjoy being with each other and they get each other through it all. That's what my opinion of it is. I'm so proud of BTS this was a powerful positive message.

Rebecca Kumar Well, A theory, or mine is that either Jin left or something, and they are trying to deal with their own problems. Or, As you can hear, 'Fall' plays over and over again, which means the characters are falling into their own world of darkness. The characters are unable to control their actions and emotions, but when they are together, they can get over that. For example, Jhope was looking at himself in the mirror, and taking the pills, but with them, he is seen throwing the pills in a fire. Jhope can't stop taking pills and overdosing. Jungkook can't stand up for himself. Taehyung can't handle his mother getting abused by his father. Jimin can't help but feel the cold water on his skin, everywhere he goes, all those attempts at suicide. Rapmon can't stop smoking. Suga is under stress. In a comment earlier, it was mentioned that there were police lights if you looked carefully, and if you looked at the sign outside the window, that is where jungkook got hit by a car. Each member dies in this story. (Not permanently, though.. But that would be getting into another theory) Jimin drowns Suga and rapmon die in a fire Jhope dies of overdose of pills Jungkook gets hit by a car, and so on. In the prologue, you can see that Rapmon wrote in Korean, "keep living" or "survive", somewhat around those words. So the members must keep living, which is why you can see them at the end running alongside each other. The man V killed was his father. V's character could not control his anger as he entered the house only to see his father hitting his mother, and out of pure anger, he killed him. I don't want to get too into detail, so search some theories online, they can really help you understand some more! Sorry for ranting, heh.
The ending of them being together represents them going to heaven 'paradise' where they are all happy again just like how they were in the pass... They were all typically representing all kinds of different situations youth has to undergo through this MV and BTS portrays it so well that's why i really respect them even more!

"I looked up what white lilies signify and there were a variety of meanings depending on interpretation such as wanting to find personal balance, to seek peace and tranquility, the quality of innocence in our lives, as well as new rebirths and what not. They were trying to say that the best time of your life "youth" comes with both good and bad moments. No matter how tough it gets there are still good moments in life that makes life worth living for in a sense. Through all the sadness I saw a lot of hope in the message. It is a message for turbulent people to not give in to the darkness and find some hope in whatever situation you are in. I think that is very powerful, especially since they are in a country with high suicide rates since it tends to put the topics of domestic abuse, pain, loneliness, depression, insanity, etc aside and under the rug. Thank you BTS for bringing them to spotlight and giving hope to those who are in dire need of it by saying you are here for them, that you relate to them, and will be there for them. Internally grateful! Sorry for the long rant.
My heart hurts with this MV. Before I saw the MV, I thought they were just singing about the person they loved and missed. The song, the beat, instruments, chorus, all so addictive but it will hurt my heart to listen to it again because I've seen this MV and it's sooooo freakin' sad. DAMN!

WTH!!! i just realise that this mv actually relate to some of the short film " wings " like the burning lily, and then the guy and the girl which were in v short film stigma
MY interpretation. the song is about youth and it shows that a lot of kids deal with their own problems outside of their friendships. But when they came together they were happy its possible that they all delt with their problems and ended up dead (because we dont all survive those hard years) and jin was dealing with depression because of his dead friends.

I feel like I Need You and Run are about widening your perception of situations. In I Need You, they are all suffering, but then in Run it shows the same scenes in a more positive light. Maybe instead of an actual storyline the MVs just show that you can always find light in the darkest times?

This is so sad and weird because I was having a conversation with this guy that I met at a festival. His friend got really drunk and they had tickets to an after party that they were going to go to until their coach arrives in the morning to take them back to London. So instead of going to that, me and my flatmate said that they can come back to ours and his friend can sleep on our sofa if she wants to. So while she was sleeping we were speaking about boys and he said that so many times guys feel like the have to act a certain way due to pressure and the role of "being a man" and that is why sometimes they may act erratically in terms or relationships (which what I got from what he had to say, was super interesting). He also said because male friendships in general aren't that intimate like women, often they feel like they cannot share how they really feel and emotions so they get desperate. He said so many times he would see a guy be happy then they would go out and the guy would break down and cry and say he wants to commit suicide then the next day, the guy would act like everything was okay and he was just melodramatic because he was drunk. I really feel for guys after that convo.
Honestly every single time I watch this MV I cry my eyes out. I love BTS because they always tell you what real. All of their songs have a meaning. This on is very deep. I can never say that they leave me disappointed because in reality they don't. They're amazingly talented boys who stole my heart and well I'll probably gonna keep loving them until the end. BTS isn't some lame rookie group. NO. And if you believe that then you sooooooooo wrong. They're a talented new group who puts out amazing music for their fans to listen to. Just my opinion, but I really don't think any of them died in this MV because they were all together in the end. I think that's the message of this MV, despite their problems they still had each other's friendship and support and that's what got them through. I also think that they were given second chances as well depending on what their situation was. I believe Jin lost someone (hence the flowers) he struggled with depression but he didn't die. Suga also lost someone and burned the hotel room but I also believe he didn't die. Jhope dealt with depression and was abusing prescription pills and nearly overdosed and collapsed on the bridge but woke up (given a second chance) which is why I think he didn't die either. Plus you see him pouring the pills into the fire pit so I believe that's his resolve of his issue. Jimin is also depressed over the loss of someone (he has a letter/paper that reminds him of someone in his past) and this causes him pain so he tries to drown himself but it doesn't work (given second chance) because you see him outside of the tub shivering and also in the tub crying above water in the end, like Jhope he burns the paper or letter and cries (his resolve of his issue). I believe Jungkook is a runaway teen and because he accidentally bumps hoodlums on the street while he's lost in his own world, they beat the shit out of him and he almost gets hit by a car but I don't believe he died either (given second chance) also he's seen in the end with the others. Rap Monster works at a gas station pumping people's gas. I see his problem as his struggle with his job and maybe money too. You can see the struggle and disrespect of his job when the money is thrown out the window to him. I don't think the gas station blew up, I think him dropping the cigarette on the money was his own way of not letting the struggle of it all get him down. So I don't think he died either. V's situation is kind of uncertain to me. He's going through a tough time in his life. Its unclear to me whether the two people in the room are an ex-girlfriend and abusive new boyfriend or his mom and abusive dad (can't see the girl well but the guy looks older to me). I want to think it was his family because the door was open and that was his destination he went to so I'm unsure but I want to say it was his home. Anyway he walks in and sees the guy hitting the girl and he snaps and hit the guy in he head with a soju bottle and then stabs him repeatedly with the jagged edges. There was blood so I assume the man is dead but Idk because the girl stopped him before he could do more. I'm not sure what V's resolve is maybe it's the regret he felt afterwords and that the girl is safe now. As far as the police goes what happens to V is unclear. But he didn't die. You see a lot of happiness with V and the rest of BTS so I think being with them makes things better for him. I think that goes for everyone. Being a Bangtan boy really makes them happy and they enjoy being with each other and they get each other through it all. That's what my opinion of it is. I'm so proud of BTS this was a powerful positive message.

In a nutshell what happened was this: Jin was the only one who lived in the end. The MV is basically him telling their story. Although some people are wondering if it's correlating with a Korean legend that if you lock yourself in a room with lily petals you will die because they suck the oxygen out of your body. They all committed suicide except for V who murdered the man who was abusing his ex-girlfriend. Suga set himself on fire in his hotel room, J-Hope overdosed and collapsed on the street, Rap Mon drops the cigarette in gasoline, Jimin drowns himself, and Jungkook walks into traffic. In the end, when they're by the sea, fans are speculating that it's supposed to represent them all finding each other in heaven, where they're finally free :) Even though the video is dark and intense, the ending makes me feel happy. Hope this explanation makes sense!

Or, As you can hear, 'Fall' plays over and over again, which means the characters are falling into their own world of darkness. The characters are unable to control their actions and emotions, but when they are together, they can get over that. For example, Jhope was looking at himself in the mirror, and taking the pills, but with them, he is seen throwing the pills in a fire.
Jhope can't stop taking pills and overdosing.
Jungkook can't stand up for himself.
Taehyung can't handle his mother getting abused by his father.
Jimin can't help but feel the cold water on his skin, everywhere he goes, all those attempts at suicide.
Rapmon can't stop smoking.
Suga is under stress.
In a comment earlier, it was mentioned that there were police lights if you looked carefully, and if you looked at the sign outside the window, that is where jungkook got hit by a car.
Each member dies in this story. (Not permanently, though.. But that would be getting into another theory)

In the prologue, you can see that Rapmon wrote in Korean, "keep living" or "survive", somewhat around those words. So the members must keep living, which is why you can see them at the end running alongside each other.
The man V killed was his father. V's character could not control his anger as he entered the house only to see his father hitting his mother, and out of pure anger, he killed him. I don't want to get too into detail, so search some theories online, they can really help you understand some more! Sorry for ranting, heh.

The ending of them being together represents them going to heaven 'paradise' where they are all happy again just like how they were in the pass... They were all typically representing all kinds of different situations youth has to undergo through this MV and BTS portrays it so well that's why i really respect them even more!

"I looked up what white lilies signify and there were a variety of meanings depending on interpretation such as wanting to find personal balance, to seek peace and tranquility, the quality of innocence in our lives, as well as new rebirths and what not.

Maaaan, watching this after all the theories and the webtoon, and the Smeraldo books, its just... It has sense.
They were trying to say that the best time of your life "youth" comes with both good and bad moments. No matter how tough it gets there are still good moments in life that makes life worth living for in a sense. Through all the sadness I saw a lot of hope in the message. It is a message for turbulent people to not give in to the darkness and find some hope in whatever situation you are in. I think that is very powerful, especially since they are in a country with high suicide rates since it tends to put the topics of domestic abuse, pain, loneliness, depression, insanity, etc aside and under the rug. Thank you BTS for bringing them to spotlight and giving hope to those who are in dire need of it by saying you are here for them, that you relate to them, and will be there for them. Internally grateful! Sorry for the long rant.

its possible that they all delt with their problems and ended up dead (because we dont all survive those hard years) and jin was dealing with depression because of his dead friends.

I feel like I Need You and Run are about widening your perception of situations. In I Need You, they are all suffering, but then in Run it shows the same scenes in a more positive light. Maybe instead of an actual storyline the MVs just show that you can always find light in the darkest times?

This is so sad and weird because I was having a conversation with this guy that I met at a festival. His friend got really drunk and they had tickets to an after party that they were going to go to until their coach arrives in the morning to take them back to London. So instead of going to that, me and my flatmate said that they can come back to ours and his friend can sleep on our sofa if she wants to. So while she was sleeping we were speaking about boys and he said that so many times guys feel like the have to act a certain way due to pressure and the role of "being a man" and that is why sometimes they may act erratically in terms or relationships (which what I got from what he had to say, was super interesting). He also said because male friendships in general aren't that intimate like women, often they feel like they cannot share how they really feel and emotions so they get desperate. He said so many times he would see a guy be happy then they would go out and the guy would break down and cry and say he wants to commit suicide then the next day, the guy would act like everything was okay and he was just melodramatic because he was drunk. I really feel for guys after that convo.
Honestly every single time I watch this MV I cry my eyes out. I love BTS because they always tell you what real. All of their songs have a meaning. This on is very deep. I can never say that they leave me disappointed because in reality they don't. They're amazingly talented boys who stole my heart and well I'll probably gonna keep loving them until the end. BTS isn't some lame rookie group. NO. And if you believe that then you sooooooooo wrong. They're a talented new group who puts out amazing music for their fans to listen to. They don't hide anything from us. They give us great morals in their songs. And they sing about what's real in life. I love them so much that I can't explain it. I give them props for their acting and I just hope that they'll keep this up. I will forever be an A.R.M.Y and no one is gonna change that.
