Perfect timing! I love her suggestions. My sister (a cross-stitcher) had a bunch of her pieces framed at a Hobby Lobby. They turned out so well, she convinced me to take my work to the same location. We have our favorite person there who helps us choose the mats and frames. She has a great eye. I love seeing the project before and after framing.
What a great idea to use spacers between the foam core backing and the mat! I always am looking for ways to give a bit of depth to my framing. Thank you both for your expertise!
Marie asked really good questions. I used to work in an art gallery/framing shop. I learned how to cut mats and glass but I was never very good at picking colors. The owner of the gallery was fantastic at it.
I was good at drawing when I was younger but I can't seem to do it now but I love felting and I wish I could do a felting picture to be proud of and hang on the wall
Oh I fell asleep in my chair and missed the live, but the replay is great. I love some of these ideas! THEN I find I am a WW Winner! Thank you so much! I was kicking myself for missing the live, but i am having fun watching it anyway.
