This has been an experience to watch this series, I’m in awe of the way you get so much done at such a fast pace. Also I appreciate the extra effort in making this 1000days video adding little extra comments rather than just replaying the episodes.
This series is like a blueprint for players looking to improve their gameplay. While it's only just getting started, it shows how to (in my opinion) how to set yourself up for success. You can't build a mega base without resources, so focus on that first and then you can do whatever you want! I absolutely love that you included links to all the farms, as well. You are taking us on this journey with you and I am so excited to see where this world goes!
Thanks Timmy, you've hit the nail directly on the head. I think in the past I've tried way too hard to have big plans early on and "megabase this and megabase that" without having the potential to complete them. This series, and you're right it's just getting started, is going to show how much I've learned as far as progressing in a world and making insane stuff. When you see what's in store for Eps 11, 12 and 13 ... just ... I'm ready for it. I'm ready to show you ALL of that! I'm so excited for this world!! Thanks for coming on the journey.

I don't know why, but when i watch a "1000 days hardcore" video i feel sad when it ends. Especially this one Rad/Matt. Thank u for the amazing content.
I relate to that - I never want the 1000 days to be up but mostly because people end there. It's a VERY common stopping point for miniseries and I get it ... but sometimes you want more. In GOOD news for you and others who feel this way, I'm over 1850 days in and 2000 days full movie will be out ... "soonTM" :D
It is one of the best 1000 days I have seen. The fast paced gameplay really hooked me up and got some really cool ideas for my world. I recently started playing Minecraft so watching these kind of 1000 days really helped me.
Can't lie, stumbled on randomly and so glad i did. I haven't found many Minecraft hardcores that isnt with about 30+ mods. This is actually relaxing to watch through when im babysitting or just stuck awake from insomnia. Also great that he links every tutorial in the description and even though this is like nearly a year ago, this is still getting veiws as it should ❤ also just hands down now my favourite youtuber
i only watch hardcore vids with ppls voices who arent annoying or i get tired of easily. you’re def on that list now and it’s quite small. although this was a year ago but i will be using this video as one of my videos to fall asleep to until i completely finish it while im awake! will be coming back to this

You make such great buildings! I struggle to follow a simply tutorial let alone come up with something like your buildings without a tutorial! Very impressive and I love the theme you have!
HARDCORE MOVIE!!!! AWW WE SOME!!!! the Best Movie ever, if you havent watched it then you HAVE to watch it. this movie is AMAZING this world is amazing i can't believe how many little things i forgot about from the early episodes, so stoked for the dragon Egg drop
All the little things you forget along the way, right? How early I killed the dragon and even then it felt like I'd taken my time ... the super early game sheep farm, forgetting the boat in the iron farm ... lol This world is my favourite I've ever built and it's only going to get crazier. :)

My favorite part of this video is how detailed you were in linking all the best farms you choose to use when starting out / later on, there are so many ways to tackle those problems and I think I'll be coming back to this video a lot and using it as a reference to decide what farms to choose in my worlds.

You are a unicorn viewer and if I had a million of you, I would go through so much less stress. haha Unfortunately I think it's a curse ... the builders don't care and can't follow the tech episodes. The tech people don't care about the purty house at all. Every episode is like "how can I split my audience in half this week" lol Sadly, it's probably going to have to be one or the other at some point.

I just started playing Java after 10+ years of bedrock and I kept seeing the potential of farms in Java, it’s crazy (tnt duping, quasi connectivity, etc)
I hope you have fun with the Java journey and yeah, I hope the series is a great look at what's possible. OP/minmax is a bit tiring tbh but it's fun when it's done. :D
haha Not the first, def not the last, either. I love doing the research around my builds even if sometimes I don't strictly follow it (like the pagoda.) I enjoyed learning about the Buddha statues, though, as well as the way temples and those curled roofs work (and why). Good times. :D
So unfortunate - TH-cam seems to have done that to SO many people who enjoyed Episode 1, too. At least if you decide to catch up, you have lots to watch! We're on Episode 23 now (it comes out in about 5 hrs).

I think you'll like some of those, too! :D Nah, no engineering background - I'm more of a planning and optimising type person IRL. So I can easily pre-plan and make those plans work generally.

Sucks to die in the void b/c there's just nothing you can do if you're still getting wings but it's fine, we go again! I don't love caving so yeah, getting Diamonds advancement in the End made a lot of people laugh. haha My mods you can prob get from my Twitch chat or my discord using !mods command.

I stumbled across this video today and wanted to say that although I’m not an expert on Japanese architecture, I did visit the country last summer and visited a lot of shrines, pagodas, and historical locations and buildings. I think you did an absolutely amazing job with the buildings, the attention to detail is so impressive! Keep up the good work!

I've been playing Minecraft since I was a kid, and I've always played so casually, but watching this video made me realize how much more I want to actually do in the game. Over a decade of playing, and I've just built my first ever farm- the iron farm you built early in this video. I'm so happy with it. Cheers!

haha well ... that's true BUT ... the wiske farm also gives me coal, which is better than the flushing farm also giving me GP since my ghast farm is better GP. And soon neither will matter because I'll be building an omega creeper farm and an omega bonemeal farm. :D
I don’t know why, but every time I watch this video it makes me more motivated to play my Minecraft world. I’m building a Halloween village (yes I know I’m late) and then after that I’m building a guardian farm, making a honey farm, cobblestone farm, stone farm, and then I’m making my biggest build I’ve built in the world, The Grand Canyon. I may have to use tnt binning machines lol

lol Yeah it's like that sometimes. 1000 days is about 350 hours of recording. Getting that down to 4 hours and editing, replaymod, music selection, farm selection & planning ... this is probably 850+ hours in the making. Still, it's what I love doing so we're out here. Thanks for the kind words!

I've been playing Minecraft since I was a kid, and I've always played so casually, but watching this video made me realize how much more I want to actually do in the game. Over a decade of playing, and I've just built my first ever farm- the iron farm you built early in this video. I'm so happy with it. Cheers!

haha well ... that's true BUT ... the wiske farm also gives me coal, which is better than the flushing farm also giving me GP since my ghast farm is better GP. And soon neither will matter because I'll be building an omega creeper farm and an omega bonemeal farm. :D

I don’t know why, but every time I watch this video it makes me more motivated to play my Minecraft world. I’m building a Halloween village (yes I know I’m late) and then after that I’m building a guardian farm, making a honey farm, cobblestone farm, stone farm, and then I’m making my biggest build I’ve built in the world, The Grand Canyon. I may have to use tnt binning machines lol

lol Yeah it's like that sometimes. 1000 days is about 350 hours of recording. Getting that down to 4 hours and editing, replaymod, music selection, farm selection & planning ... this is probably 850+ hours in the making. Still, it's what I love doing so we're out here. Thanks for the kind words!
