The premier "Hummel" channel in the U.S. is one Dennis Brooks and although very grass-roots he provides a ton of information on this all-metal aircraft that remains quite affordable, popular and very airworthy.
they even provide a remodelled upgrade version now, the H5(?) with more curvy looks and as far as i remember LSA parameters….so no grass roots at all🤣it wasn,t even back then…it was just far beyond parafoil death traps…

I enjoyed the assembly and flight it's all well-defined and coordinated. What is the range of this aircraft, and would you do cross country?
It can fly about 165 miles in 2.5 hours on 5 gallons of fuel.
