with this level, i basically had a whole chain of thought that went like:
1. i wanted a repeating pattern kind of thing, so initially i went for the cubicle, it didn't work so i changed to something similar to 1, 2, 3, 4, where there are only a few patterns
2. as i said in the description, i got inspired by Ib, which had an art gallery as its main background, inspiring me to make "picture frame"-type gimmick
3. the original gimmick planned for deltaTime was really similar to this one, so i slightly tweaked it and ended up with this

the slowdown was surprisingly easy enough, the weird bend was really odd though
thankfully i already knew it existed because i had a scrapped version already, so i did manage to not get confused this time
