Yes we also reached millionaire status with a nationally recognized home health agency. We sold that company and became real estate investors and are in full time ministry and are able to pursue our passions on our own terms to the glory of God! Great episode!

Bro how could anyone ever put one of their parents in a nursing home. That’s just crazy to me. I’m not saying I would be a easy thing to take care of someone that needs extra medical attention but this is your mother bro. The mother that took care of you when you were little and shitting your diapers. What a dam shame to just pawn your mother off onto a senior living. Damn low.

If you do not have a passion for people & are only in it for the money, please do not jump into healthcare entrepreneurship. You will make your staff & patients miserable. We need people in it for the patients. The money will come secondary. This comes from a nurse practitioner with her own clinic.

To me 100% of the Hospital is Mental Health. From taking pharmacy, cna, emt and now qmhp I see people come and they compete with me for money and next thing you know the clients snap on them cause they see who actually care.
Sometimes in 12 hours I go to the bathroom once and have no break. Sometimes you see and experience things that hit you hard but you go back and giving that care takes you through. I cant stand to see a CNA, Nurse, Social Worker etc that has no common sense or just there for the money.

This was an awesome interview! I also am a African American entering the mental health field. I agree there is a lot of misconception in our community that one must have a certain level of merit to be an owner! All you must have is desire and the knowledge! This was very inspiring, because I feel this is such an untapped market for individuals and to see someone showing how lucrative it can be to CARE! It shows that we can all be profitable from lending one another a helping hand. These community services are exactly that for the community! We must be the bridges we want to see with our community services! Thank you for the interview and the knowledges shared brother! God bless #Growth&Stacks

Guys, his money is being made selling a $2000 course and not Home Health Care (HHC). HHC is not that lucrative, especially when you are a new company, and what he's not telling you is that most fail before they ever get off the ground.
HHC doesn't work like that you have to first apply for a "Certificate of Need" and be approved you have to have an administrator or fulfill that role yourself, plus you must hire a nurse and nursing assistant and maintain a file on all employees and patients and have them under lock and key, undergo records reviews, etc. You have to have a certain number of clients before you can even get credentialed to accept certain insurances. You can't be a middle man and get clients and pass them off to the nurse or CNA as he stated, that would mean he's in sales. This is when I KNEW he was lying, and he can't go out himself if the nurse or CNA doesn't show up, it requires him to be a licensed nurse or CNA. Even if he would have made over a million in his first year, the overhead would eat up MOST of it. How is he running a million-dollar HHC business from his home, where's his office. 🤷‍♂️
I have a friend who is a nurse and owns her own HHC company in Georgia and she even said this guy is selling lies, and that she's in the wrong business and needs to start selling an HHC course. The only difference is that she would know what she's talking about and not blowing smoke up people a$$.
Always be leary of people selling a lifestyle and flaunting homes, cars, etc. - if those things don't matter as he stated in the video, then why is he flaunting them all over his social media pages. Listen to his conversation, it's a motivational speech and a money grab. Do some research on this guy and look at when he started his social media accounts and what he primarily posts. Check the "Georgia Secretary of State" website and look at the business registration and see who is currently listed as the business owner - Demarreo Hines, who also seems to own a luxury transportation business.
Black people stop giving your money to people until you've vetted them. Everyone today seems to be selling the millionaire lifestyle. Smh

Lolll I’m a current nursing home administrator and I know this market quite well…there is potential to make money but the big companies already cover this market and the small independent companies can barely make it out there…it’s possible but it is very hard to get that money…on the non emergency it’s not that easy either…because throughout the country there’s only one contractor that holds the contract for all the Medicaid transport…again vetting…it’s possible but it is a hard and uphill battle

Good information. No, you don't have to go to college to be successful. But entrepreneurship is risky as well. 80% of small businesses fail within the first 5 years. So why chose? I chose to do both college and entrepreneurship. The more skill sets the better.

BARS!!!!! Happiness vs Joy big up this interview!

  • @Ridicholas

i want to know more. This is great--you can't buy happiness. My mom helped me to nurture my love for service to others. Happiness is that thing that speaks most to your soul. I love this segment. I am a nursing student and she steered me to research this while my school rakes in my 53K per year--yes not a medical school. My queen. You are a giver and people will take advantage. That is what hurts--my parents were that until they were not. Glad they changed.

Not every state has the same laws for home health care businesses
FL you can’t operate from your house ( because PHI) and you have to have a office to keep the patients private health information stored in a locked secure room for five years after you admitted them as a client/ patient to your medical business. Also you have to be in business making revenue for 5 years before you can become Medicaid certified.
Research your state! Owning a home health care business is regulated by the state and federal government you need to know the laws. You have to be passionate and serious about getting into the healthcare industry!
Also when getting licensed by the state you have to show in your bank account money that can sustain your business.... 5 years capital . There are a lot more stuff you have to do when applying for your license because the state comes to survey your business face to face. Once again look up the info based on your state.... you need capital to start a home health care business . Years ago a lot of people got in trouble for insurance fraud and they are even more strict with federal laws to own a licensed health care business.

What if you're not printing PHI? PHI can be stored online and not stored in a secure room? Anyone interested in entrepreneurship should know the laws of their state. The healthcare industry is broad in scope; so I wouldn't say it's any different than any other industry as long as you're moral and ethical sound businessman or woman.
