From the comments I see that people don't know about color profiles and post production (color grading). You don't judge cameras based on out of camera shots like this. 🙏🏿 Don't make the mistake of judging cameras by what you shoot out of camera alone. The FX6 Is a beast! Even the A7S3 is a solid camera
@@NosaAlways absolutely brother It goes way beyond “straight out of camera” Like I said in the video a7s3 is still my most used video camera till date and every day I’m getting to love the fx6 more It is just an amazing camera Thanks for commenting bro 👊
Great video! The A7s3 is yellow and the FX6 is too dark for some reason but the Cinema 6k looks so alive especially on the outdoors shots. I can see the 10 bit vs 12 bit color difference, it’s so pleasing to the eye. The 12 bit has that much more life to the image, it just feels right.
I didn't like camera A, and I hesitated for a long time between B and C because they both look good and in the end I decided on C as the best. It didn't surprise me that it was Blackmagic.
Thanks for the comparison! All thee cameras produce lovely images (not surprising these days); though I agree that the Blackmagic 6K appears to have nicer colors and contrast. The skin tones especially feel a lot more natural. Of course, colors have always been one of Blackmagic's stengths and one of Sony's weakness (though they're far better now than they were in the days of the FS7). Ultimatly, I think people should go with whatever camera is in their budget AND they enjoy working with. I ended up grabbing the Blackmagic 6KPro over the Full Frame because I really wanted to have internal ND filters and keep the ability to record ProRes for certain projects that didn't require RAW.
Well said mate There are just too many options available for filmmakers now Is just to look at what you need and pick the right camera for your type of work. Thanks for taking the time to share this
Really really good video... Do you mind sharing free log footage moving on, for those aspiring colorists who are practicing on how to color grade, but do not have access to such cameras? You'd really help out... Once again, really insightful video, especially for those who are deliberating on what camera to buy...
Lol - Bro I swear the 6K FF looks sharper, not sure if it a YT compression thing. The outside footage the FX6 looks very, very soft when she is walking, almost like the shutter angle is greater then the 6K FF. What shutter angle did you use? where they the same in both cameras? Great video by the way.
@@adriancluskey3640 haha Might be TH-cam compression Fx6 looks more sharper for the interior shot But the outdoor shot Even I though the fx6 footage was the bm If not for the file difference I might have run into problem of differentiating between them 😂 Anyways, thanks checking the video out
The Black Magic is definitely shaper. You can see it in her blouse 👚. If the FX6 looks sharper it’s only the contrast making it look that way. The Cinema 6k is definitely shaper and more pleasing without being too sharp.

The FX6 and the BM looked almost similar
It is amazing to see how they both perform in same set up
Good video, you made different shots and made them last enough so we have the time to compare them properly. BM 6K FF is the clear winner for me.
