Earlier, Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) disagreed with a very involved father's treatment ideas for his daughter's gastrointestinal maladies, but as he discusses his frustration with Lea (Paige Spara), he realizes the father (guest star Jeremiah Birkett), despite not being a doctor, may have had a point. Shaun has an ever growing EQ. He IS fair, he does work on himself, he is continously trying to improve... As a neurodivergent person myself I love that they are showing the hard work that people with autism so frequently do to get better at the interpersonal tasks that are harder for us. This show highlights that growth that often eclipses those who are neurotypical because when a person does not struggle in an area they often think that their set point is good enough. Bravo Shaun for always working on yourself!

This has been my favourite episode this season so far. Shaun has grown so much. He was able to deal with situations on his own. So proud of him. Love him dearly. Freddie plays this character so well. He is amazing!!
