Left arm down is a down arm bar and not a chicken wing. Chicken wing is bent elbow with arm folded in crack to create passive style camming action. Talking more about the downward camming of the right foot would be useful as that is the crucial base of upward progress with the left leg leg bar being progress capture 👍💪🫡

This is why I certainly can't call this video a "lesson". Thanks for the info!

I was just in RR this past weekend and looked up at this crack and thought “no way”. I wish I had seen your video because your technique seems much simpler than other ways I saw this climbed. Cheers!

Nice technique and congrats on the sobriety! While you're on the east coast, come swing by CT. We have some classic offwidths you can practice on 😉

I fell out of that crack and twisted my ankle just last weekend

Excellent tutorial of exactly why I don’t do offwidth 😅

I dunno… I think the offwidth on Fear and Loathing was tougher than this. But looks fun! 🎉🎉

I will! Though, I want to give it a little more time. It's currently been about 6 weeks.

I pee my pants just watching the start where you don't even climb how high is that I would use a rope for that you're very good at climbing

~30 ft. The other side is easier IMO but if you're not familiar with the style of climbing, they can be a bit heady.
