Hi Robyn, one of the VERY MANY joys of watching your videos, and I've only just opened to this one, is the oh, SO delicious visual beginning, where you're arrangement of objects immediately lights my life. You don't even know me, and yet, my life is littered by gifts from you. Whatever is the biggest way of saying Thank You, that is my thanks to you.

I love the teacher in you...you come from such a deep knowledge base and you teach us how to ask intelligent questions of the art we create, which helps lead us to understanding the decisions we make. You help make our work successful. We all need a base of good information before we can make good art. Once we acquire the skills you're teaching, we can bend the rules a little and make our work our own...thank you,

Robyn to sharpen scissors, cut some sandpaper with them, it works. 😁

Thank you Robyn, it is so helpful to hear your thought process as you're collaging. I also appreciate how much you audition because that is something I find hard NOT to do. I am a Libra, decision making is HARD :-) Symmetrical balance is easier for me to achieve, it's those scales again, Asymmetrical is the challenge. I look forward to your Collage Course, sign me up!

    Hi Robyn
Would it be possible to send me the name of the Instagram collage artist you mentioned? I did look on Instagram but I must be spelling Jerome Cavaleri incorrectly.

I think the marvelous thing about the way you teach is the ability you have to break down concepts into a format that is understandable- not just saying it is a gut feeling or intuition. Because there is something else at play - but those who are not to that level- how do we get there? Being able to ask ourselves about these simple concepts can help so much in every aspect of art. The gut feeling and intuition comes from years of experience and practice--- which when people are just starting out or just art as therapy or as a hobby--they may not have those years of experience. As with any form of art- we all get better with practice, but knowing what questions to ask or how to have that balance in our work is going to be producing more quality art-- in my opinion.

Another wonderful video - thanks, Robyn! An alternative to spraying "runnable" color papers to hold color is to put a light layer of medium on your gel plate and press the paper down on it, coating the color surface.

Incredibly helpful instruction, Robyn. I'd love to see how you incorporate your dried flowers into collage. I have dried some flowers but haven't used them because I'm not sure how to do it so they don't degrade
