@@thisthickboy7780 It's not supposed to be sexist, women are treated very badly in countries like these, even though in this situation it's probably useless to make a women's only lift, it's better to do
Probably cause it would be illegal in Norway, the EU, the US or 90% of the Western world. I mean a women only elevator would be fine. IF there where two. And the other was open to men/all. So basically in his home country and most of ours (the people watching) the hotel would be in big trouble for the ONLY elevator being for one gender. I understand it's different in Asia, but while well traveled, he is a Westerner...
@@furitty Women are not treated badly in Vietnam. Probably safer there than in a lot of other countries, including places like France, England, Italy...(not even including India and the Middle Easter as those places are a given when it comes to treating women like crap or are groped, harassed, raped, etc.).
I like this one more, maybe because of its simplicity and cleanliness, yeah the old one had more features but this one was very easy to use and i like the woodwork especially, The clothes were looking very comfy
Depends on how the electronic locks are engineered. You're assuming there has to be an operating motor or solenoid to unlock, but it can be as simple as spring tension overcoming the force of an electromagnet once power is cut.
It doesn’t seem too tight and it’s just for sleeping! I would be okay with it for a night or two but after, the claustrophobia would definitely kick in XD
I'm extremely claustrophobic, I can't even take the lift to go home (I live in a two story apartment, on the second floor), but that room fascinated me, I'd like to spend some time in it. It seems cozy, very cozy!
It's only a good idea as long as they allow transgender people in the hotel. But judging by the receptionist he was super sweet so I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem.
That capsule hotel is good for single female traveler as it provides security as men and women are separated by floor and only women can get to their floor through the lift ....
U should be glad the receptionist is so nice....once when I had stayed at a hotel on a vacation the receptionist shoved a key into my hand and left...had to locate the room by myself
One thing people dont notice is that sexism weren't a thing in a Vietnam for so long, by saying "men and stronger than women" he meant that the physical condition of women is not as good as men and that's actually a factual thing in biology. It's the same reason why people who are ill, pregnant or older will get the elevator and special seats in some areas and on bus. Most people just assume he saying women are weaker and thing he is sexist which is a stupid stereotype tbh. People are now offended by everything
XIAO it just seems modern, clean, spacious (for a capsule), quiet. The lighting is relaxing it appears, the others I’ve seen look like white plastic coffins

they still don’t have rights tho.. cuz the reason why they have the elevator is fucked up.
Women have had rights for a long time, just some of them think they have to have way more rights than men and become feminist and then teach their children that and now we have a bunch of sissys living among us that think they should have more right but they already do
I usually become somewhat uptight when experiencing different cultures than my own. As a fellow norwegian I have to say your laidback attitude towards people when travelling inspires me. You show people respect but you also seem to be yourself in the process. Bra jobba. :)
I like the receptionist a lot. He seems very genuine in what he does.

He was really pressing him about that elevator lol
It’s cuz he’s an equalist he believe that both should take the stairs. ( yes ik it was for security reason the elevator was there)
@@thisthickboy7780 It's not supposed to be sexist, women are treated very badly in countries like these, even though in this situation it's probably useless to make a women's only lift, it's better to do
Probably cause it would be illegal in Norway, the EU, the US or 90% of the Western world.

Depends on how the electronic locks are engineered. You're assuming there has to be an operating motor or solenoid to unlock, but it can be as simple as spring tension overcoming the force of an electromagnet once power is cut.

I'm extremely claustrophobic, I can't even take the lift to go home (I live in a two story apartment, on the second floor), but that room fascinated me, I'd like to spend some time in it. It seems cozy, very cozy!
That idea with the elevator separating the men's and women's floors is amazing! This whole hotel is incredible! I'd love to stay there!
@@crystalasteroid5571 literally nobody asked
It's only a good idea as long as they allow transgender people in the hotel. But judging by the receptionist he was super sweet so I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem.

I don't know why people take so much offence to what the receptionist said, he's just stating a general stereotype.
U should be glad the receptionist is so nice....once when I had stayed at a hotel on a vacation the receptionist shoved a key into my hand and left...had to locate the room by myself
What did he even say wrong?
One thing people dont notice is that sexism weren't a thing in a Vietnam for so long, by saying "men and stronger than women" he meant that the physical condition of women is not as good as men and that's actually a factual thing in biology. It's the same reason why people who are ill, pregnant or older will get the elevator and special seats in some areas and on bus. Most people just assume he saying women are weaker and thing he is sexist which is a stupid stereotype tbh. People are now offended by everything
