When i saw 2 comvolt powerstations on your table i was super excited thinking you had the 6KWH one!!!! 😂😂😂😂 I cant wait to see one of the comvolt 6KWH powerstations...thats what i plan on using in my sprinter.van conversion. I AM VEHICLE BOUND!!!!! 😊😊😊😊 Nice review!!!
Yeah, the 6kwh unit would be sweet, that 4kwh unit is on a super sale and might be the one to get as it's still portable. These are the best units for vehicle bound users.
Greetings from South Texas, is it possible to use a redodo 12v 40a dc to DC charger on a dabsson pro to charge while driving. Again thank you for all the information and videos you do.
Hello statesmenn, geeeting from east Texas. You could your 12 volts 40 amp charger but if the voltage is low than 24 or 25 volts it will only allow for 10 amps which would be only about 120 watts or the same as the included car light adapter. You want a vehicle high voltage charger or you can use a step up converter to volts to 24 or 36 volts.
Hey! Great video and thank you for your insight and sharing. It's great to see you teaching your sons about these also... I'm sure they know more about solar than most adults. I have a few stations about the same size and and am in the process of getting a few batteries for capacity expansion. Oh, FYI...The three links for the Allpowers aren't working. Thanks again. Be safe all!
Thanks for the great feedback and yes the kids are learning. I give them a 12 volt class once in a while. They wired up their go kart with a led lights, horn, and switch’s from a Ryobi 18 volt battery. 12 volt or dc power is so easy and safer to understand and you can do a lot. Good luck with your expansion, I hope you are buying batteries instead of additional stations. I will take care of the dead links as well. Thanks for the helps up.
oupes and pecron best budget buys out there and they have good solar charging capabilities. for example the mega 1 1024 watts powerstation can take 800w of solar.. an ecoflow is only 500w!
Allow me to add another category, off grid users. While for most off grid folks a fixed system is perfect but for some of us we like to take our system with us when we travel.
I accounted for these user as the same as the home back use. Just like myself and I made if I want to hit the road I can undo my home backup in two minutes and hit the road.
Greetings from South Texas great videos on dabbson 2100 pro can you use a DC to dc charger instead of 12v car plug, have you had any issues with the unit up to now. I saw one TH-cam video that had a glitch on his unit went to zero power and tried to recharge. Anyway, keep videos coming thank you.
I know the semi solid state last 15 years compared to 10 with the lifepo4. A thing that no one considers is that there other components like the inverter, charge controllers etc.. that may break on either battery chemistry. You will not in all probability get 15 years or 10 out of any of them. Something to consider if one is willing to pay substantial more over the other. Personally I know in 5 years down the road I will want whatever the technology has taken us. Great video nice job explaining things.
Good feedback and you could be right. I have replaced many 12 volt inverter however have not had an issue with portable power station inverter yet. Most of the units I showed have a five year warranty or longer.
