iusetano Thank you for watching Hans, greetings from the Racetrack at La Grange. Yes you are right, that’s why I had to turn quickly after the power passed by to minimize the rain/wind effect, throwing the rain from those stacks on my camera lens. Really myself and equipment were getting soaked but thankful for my umbrella keeping most of heavy rain at bay.
Thank you for watching Chris greetings from one of your railfan spots! As for LaGrange itself and the Race Track, I knew it was there for a long time but I live far away, I do live close to another speedway though, the Northeast Corridor.
@@LibertyRailfan I live 700 miles away from there in Pennsylvania, but I have family there so I always spend a lot of time train watching. Its nonstop trains, great spot, plus the IHB is right nearby with plenty of trains also!!
@@chrisperry5465 nice I live next door to PA but in NJ so I am even further yet "around 850 miles", but unfortunately, I don't have family in the area so it will be a while when I could get back out there.
La Grange looks like a lovely little town. I guess nice place to escape to after you've spent the workday in Chicago. Am not a fan of "Quiet Zones". Puts safety on the shoulders of drivers and loco crews.
Thank you for watching Cats01 greetings from the BNSF race track in La Grange. I would say La Grange is a decent town, it would be especially for us railfans a good place to escape to. Well, this is the society we live in Quiet Zones now rule even some of the busiest rail lines in some of the more congested areas of the country. People want to live real close to the tracks but are upset with the noise from trains I guess they never heard of living just a little further away then.
NBVideos Presents I tried leaving you messages a few weeks ago, I would have made it to your area while I was on the road. I said please message me or email me.
@@LibertyRailfan That's weird, as I never received any of those notifications.. :/ (this is YT tho, so nothing works well with them) Anyway, no harsh feelings, as there is always next time ;)
A couple of those METRA Bi-levels on that first train at least at still have the "BURLINGTON" name plate on the side. CB&Q hasn't been around for longer than I can remember. Those cars look pristine. Are they holdovers from when the CB&Q was still around? Or "nostalgia" products? Or what?
Those double stacks can really throw the rain. Excellent video Adam.

Glad to see you outside NJ/NJ area. Love to see you branch out!
Paul Somers Thank you Paul, I do get out of this area as much as I can. NY, PA visited the most, but I do and have gone further.
Totally awesome that you found LaGrange. The Race Track is amazing. Been there many times. Congratulations!!!

Hopefully someone perhaps a local railfan or worker can answer this one.
