Great watch! Since I am on the text list, I was surprised when I saw them and no video haha. Then I thought it was some mistake and it wouldn't allow a purchase. I really was tempted by the green and white dials but didn't pull the trigger. They all look great but I'm also not really on the market, trying to sell off some watches actually before making another impulse buy haha. I guess it'll be some time but, I am more interested in getting a watch with a true GMT movement. I'm also curious about the color way we didn't get. Although this looks like a line that could earn some expanding. I do like that it had a World Time bezel rather than the typical GMT 24 hour bezel. Bi-directional bezel would have been nice but 120 click uni is good enough. Islander brand is growing in a lot of great ways.
The Black/Yellow is clearly the best one. The green would be better IMO with a darker green dial. I love all the cities - great for daydreaming about traveling. Nice work, Marc and team!
I've been watching Marc's videos for a couple of years and impressed with all that he does - videos, levels of service, but especially the look and quality of the Islander watches. I've waited until now to make my first Islander purchase - the Calabro looks absolutely amazing. I like all the colours (mmm....gold more of an acquired taste I expect) but have gone with the Green. I normally wait a while before buying a watch but with the Green Calabro, I'm thinking it will sell out and didn't want to wait for the re-issue. Big thanks to Marc and his team from Dublin.

I can certainly see myself buying one of these if I can ever bring myself to selling one of my current watches to finance it. Really a great looking series of watches, love the combination of inspirations that went into these!

When I ordered my Seiko 5 Sports GMT from you about a month ago, I thought "Marc's gonna drop his own NH34 watch any week now, but that's okay." So here we are, and you know what? I still love my Seiko to bits (and thanks for getting it here so quickly!), *and* I love tbe look of the Calabro. I'd almost get a white-dial version to go along with the Seiko, but there might be an entirely different Islander in my sights instead. At any rate, congrats on the new model, which deserves to be flying off the shelves.
These are absolute stunners - all of them! Love the Long Island instead of NY☺️👍 Btw, seem to recall a plane we had up here in the Nordics years ago (and still have in some locations), called the Britten-Norman Islander. Very cool and tough plane, and your watches (brand name) always make me remember them.
Definitely the green for me too! I wish they were a bit bigger. I did see the text message thing at the time, but didn't know how I would be charged extra for the text message in the UK, otherwise I would have been happy to sign up. There are two brands, SEIKO and Island Watch. One is a well respected brand with a loyal following. The other one is SEIKO 😉
The green is really nice! I think its because of the shade of green being a softer colour combined with the dial being textured nicely. I think if this was done in other colours like blue would be equally popular. Nice one!

Amazing watch. I found my green Calabro by accident while looking at world timers on the site. It took me all of 30 minutes to determine that the green was a winner (wife agreed). Have been wearing the Calabro every day since delivery. Stylish and tasteful, chunky and balanced, all at the same time. Plus I always wanted an h-link. This is a homerun.
Not sure about throwing pickles, but my god Marc…those are incredible. Will have to have a long look at the watch budget with that black-and-yellow number in mind. The colourway nod to the old Flighty is just to die for.

You answered my question. I have the blue meteorite MAKO 3 GMT w the Miyota 9075. My 1st 90 series Miyota. Compared to my smoothest movement..ETA 2893-2 or any of my Sellitas (Inc my SW500) it is course when winding. No ways deal breaker. Just a difference. True Jump Hour!!! Wow! I’ll wait for your venture with the hi-beat later on. I truly hope you will keep us slim wristed folk in mind. My Zelos is beyond awesome. I can’t believe I got one. Sub 3 sec. Per day slow 👍 Functions very well. But man, maybe it’s the movement and for sure the double domed boxed sapphire adds at least a mil & a half. Great review Marc. Thanks

Love the Islander brand, love all Ryan’s videos and content. This watch is throwing me for a loop lol. I had it narrowed down to the Seiko SRPD55, Orient FAA02004B9 (Kamasu II) or the Islander Bayport….Now, I don’t know WHAT the hell to do!!!???

Putting Long Island on the bezel is a really nice touch, and makes it more interesting. Plus so many other nice details with some thoughts behind them. Damn, maybe I should buy one... I've been looking for something with the NH34, and I honestly struggle to fall peoperly in love with the Seiko 5 GMT. Yours just looks like a banger tool-watch that is as much at home in a flithy garage as at a fancy garden lunch in the south of France. The Pouge'ish one looks very tasty. Great job, Mark!
