Haha. Yeah I’ll leave it for summer to come down to Vic. Want to see the High Country soon.
The van is only 2.2t ATM and we were at that when going remote with full water tanks. Other wise usually sitting at 2t.
Thanks again for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.

Mate get "Engine guard" Australian made engine, transmission temperature monitor with alarm functionality. I have one on my Triton. Completely independent of you car's system.

Thanks for that mate. I’ll look into it.

Thanks for this mate. I went out and got one of these as soon as I saw your review and have just done a test drive with it installed. Out of curiosity what sort of EGTs are you seeing on the gauge?

Hi mate. The Triton show EXT which is exhaust temperature. I’m not sure if it’s the exact same as the EGT But I think it may be. My temps stay around the 350-500 under normal driving and I’ve seen it go up in the 6-700 gunning it up a long steep hill. I haven’t been monitoring it for too long so I don’t fully know what is normal yet.
      What temps do you get?

Yeah my temps are about the same, maybe a bit lower but probably because I’m in Victoria where it’s a bit cooler. Haven’t found a long hill to test just how high it will get.

Hi mate. Yes we do have Insta, under the same name, adventuringpals. But we not really active on there as much. Mostly there for messages.
I went the sg2 over the sg3 because I like the small screen, but the more I see the sg3, the more I like em lol.
