    I love the sleeping bag trick for the kids. Mine usually make a pallet of extra pillows next to our bed, but it doesn't encourage them to get back in their own bed. I might have to try this!

    I co-slept with all 4 of my kids and they are all adults now and are soo much closer to my hubby and I then we ever were with our parents who hadn't co-slept.. my son and his wife co-sleep with their 2 yr old still cuz he's still not fully ready to stop yet and I told them not to force it.. I definitely agree you do get more restful sleep less broken up.

    Penguin is too cute. I love love the sleeping bag under the bed idea. Quick, comfy and not a huge production.

    Um why has nobody discussed how good their sweet daughter with golden french braids is with her handwriting! (Apologies I don’t remember her name).
    Also - if your kids are missing that social interaction and time with teachers in most states there are homeschooling cohorts where one day a week they meet with a teacher and other homeschooling peers.

    My parents had a king bed and all 4 of mine would sleep with them when they were young, about up to age 7 or so.
    One day my oldest went to church and announced that her grandpa slept in the bed with her 'necked'. (she meant no pj shirt)

    I would like to know about when Tiger joined and how did she sleep. I don't know her full story but from what I've gathered, she was not in a good place. I've no doubt that Geena and Drue were very gentle and accommodating with her but hers is a different story. I can't see them using the sleeping bag trick for an upset 3 year old.

    Do you mean sleeping in the same bed or room? Coz I've always thought in the same bed that's called co sleeping which i do with my little one 3 month old. But now she's older im happier to put her in the bassinet. I've been wondering when you'll start doing videos. Love you on IG. And yes, I do the same with the sleeping bag (happy napper) 🤣🤣🤣 for when they completely cannot go back to their room for whatever reason. It's always seemed strange/cold to me how Western cultures leave kids who have been in their stomachs in a whole separate room. 😱😰😨.

      Why would you sleep with your 3 month old in your bed? Have you not educated yourself on the dangers of co-sleeping? Please do!

    • @prissieke
      @prissieke ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@clementine9187 says most Western culture people. I'm not and neither has anyone in my family or extended. Some of us in this world do not put new born children in rooms by themselves. Most cultures outside of America, Australia and other western countries sleep with their new borns. It's taboo to leave a newborn baby alone. I've raised all my babies and they're all fine.

    • @prissieke
      @prissieke ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Bella-lx8vn I'm not western. I don't need to conform to western cultural ideals about ferbarizing babies or letting new born children sleep alone. I'm African. I carry my babies on my back to sleep or hold or put them in bed and I most definitely don't let my kids cry themselves to sleep. So no, I won't be educating myself on western ideas on raising kids. Thanks for offering though.

    That’s what me and my husband handle like with our oldest she come in and she said mommy I wanna sleep with you, but dad was sleeping right there so either she slept on the side of me in the bed or she up the floor like they just like y’all just did and every once in a while and she felt like coming in sleeping in the room with us that’s what she did With our young son, he was always hit us in bed because he said he has seizures and he also had a feeding disorder and it was called dysphasia type to mechanical soft and he has aspiration that he could be choking in even know it he had to have special special food, special drinks And probably get this closely with him until he was probably 13 but I had a note saying that if there was something he would never had a single bed when he got older and I tried sleeping with him and he wouldn’t work a single bed on the side and he still wanna sleep so I started putting back in bed, but it was about like 12 or 13 and then he started sleeping on his own his own bed in the same room with me again and it finally worked
