She is, very much so, but i find it sad that she comes across as a caracature these days , very brash and gaudy. Shes so talented but i suppose her fans expect this image?
These brilliant scenes show how much more than a sitcom this was. Some very poignant moments. Even Lord Meldrum had his vulnerable side when it came to Agatha.
This video is a great reminder why this series is special. But the most moving scene has to be the very last one, where Stokes and Ivy basically say goodbye to the viewers as clowns, and then Ivy walks away with James, and you can't help but root for her future hapiness.
I worked with someone similar to ivy and she was a senior member of staff!!! The simple minded naivety and black and white views on important matters was exasperating, she would report people for wrong doing without looking at the whole picture. Basically she was a decent person but her thickness was hard to tolerate daily. Just shows how this series can remind you of real life characters.. 😊
The show was packed with people pursuing the unattainable (relationship-wise) - Poppy chasing James, Ivy SIMPing for James, Henry having the hawts for Ivy,... All pretty much looking outside their own leagues/social classes. 🤔🙄😕
Yes, out of all the characters, stokes and the cook were least likeable in my view followed closely. by twelvetrees. None of them had the slightest empathy for poor old mable.
@@christinehall6441 Yeah Mabel & Henry were the most likeable (besides Ivy). But Cissy was like too one of the "normal ones" (amongst the posh upper class). 😏🤔😊
A special mention for the excellence of the scene designers and the set dressers. Very authentic.
One of my favourites. A very underrated show.
Much more than a sitcom ❤
I loved the show

Excellent casting.
