We needed seasons so badly. I feel like it would make things feel less, static? If thats the right word? And Mexico feeling so damn empty and dead. I’ve seen a lot of reddit posts saying how they only enjoy the bottom half of the map, which is the jungle portion. People want more green, and more cities. Mexico has neither. At the least we need an expansion or something. More cars and the stadium sometimes not being empty isn’t cutting it anymore.
A few types of urban environments are needed. Big city, small city, suburbs and country towns. I feel like Germany would be the perfect setting for the next game. There's cities, mountains, forests and farmland. It's the birthplace of the car and has a truly enormous market for cars.

100% true. There are still so many people that play this game 3 years later. Still has a bigger playerbase over The Crew Motorfest and that hasn’t been out for a year yet
@@Caelus.19 Well of course I'm going to play it. It's Forza Horizon at the end of the day. All I'm saying is that while yes FH5 is an amazing game it's far from a AAA masterpiece. There's been a lot of controversy surrounding FH5. They have been listening to the players more and more but they really need to get the location of the next game right and ACTUALLY build the game from the ground up to show us that they care about the playerbase, you know, the people who are spending hard earned money to play their game.

completely agree with dubs about the leader boards clean up. They did the corporate move of saying they are going to clean up the boards and did some initial cleaning up, realized how much time it was taking and then stopped because cheaters just keep on cheating. Playground appears to be focused on car packs and event lab props which provide revenue and not preventing the cheaters. If there is an open world game that can prevent the cheaters while offering the same or better experience then I think that game will leap ahead of forza/playground.
Fable isn't scheduled to release until 2025.
Likely late '25, which doesn't leave a release spot for FH6, especially considering GTA6 is scheduled for late 2025.
Maverick won't be using the Forza Tech engine so they're basically starting from scratch. I think their game is further out than people think.
I didn't expect FH6 to drop at the event either. Given the way Motorsport is built, I would expect the next Horizon to follow suit, and. I think it might be the final release we see in a traditional sense. With the way licensing works these days, and the relative success of car packs, I think we see the new model. They just keep adding cars and locations as addon or expansion packs to a core game.
See I like the driving and the physics of fh5 . But it pales in comparison to fh4s map !!! And you could see them attempting things like story with the taxi and film stunt driver stuff . Still got game awards and gamescom to come . But like yourself think we’ll see it next year !! What I’d like to see is sliders for things like the wheel spins , how much you level up , even down to how much traffic etc . Give us Japan and the option to play the game as we want to. And can still cater to the casual / younger gamer 🤷🏻♂️
Im just gonna post 2 hypotheses on why fh6 is taking longer than expected. 1, they are gonna take time to make sure the game runs perfect or better after the debacle and fumble turn 10 had when they released motorsport, and 2, im also have a bit of a hunch that playground might be stumped in regards of a global location to throw the next horizon festival. If both are truly the case, then to be honest, i can wait a little more if necessary for them to flesh out the next horizon just right. Fingers crossed.
Regarding the music: I actually liked the music in FH4 too.. but in FH5 the music is a lot worse and for me the "mixed tape" channel with loads of music from older FH-games didn't have any of the songs I wanted. The new Retro-channel is actually the least annoying channel they have.
18:30 it was after FH2 they got rid of Rob Da bank(DJ who curated songs for FH1 & 2).FH3 onwards it was curated by PGG themselves.

edit: I've joined the Horizon series in 4, wished it was 3 due to HW expansion. I love FH4's Radio, most of the times I have to choose one radio to stay in during races, sadly in Horizon 5 it's the other way around, then came the Wave station and I locked myself in it.
Other songs are like: You see the title? That's what 70% of the lyrics are.
Then we have the good ones like Roses, Industry Baby, Dreamcatcher, All of the Time and Foolish of Me. I can't remember the names of others
The fact that Forza horizon still hasn't put under glow for our cars and trucks like NFS has done or give us real drag racing modes and what not is insane just to name a few. it's really sad they don't listen to the community about anything even most requested cars aren't even the "most requested" like come on Forza why...dang man.😮💨
What I don’t understand is how they went from FH2 graphics to whatever FH5 is. Forza Horizon 2 is still shocking because of how good the graphics were. Especially when it rains😍

The Appalachian mountains would be a great place to set the next game. Tail of the Dragon, Back of the Dragon, and the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Shenandoah National Park are all legendary US mountain roads. The surrounding valleys and country hills also have incredible back country roads with tons of curves and beautiful scenery. Then, you could include DC or another major East Coast city, like Charleston, Savannah, Charlotte or even Atlanta and Nashville for more urban environments.
Germany would be the right setting. There's Munich, the Alps, the Black Forest, Hockenheim, Nurburgring and lots of farmland and villages to fill in the space.
To be honest I play Forza Horizon 4 way more than Forza Horizon 5, Forza 5 has so many amazing features and cars in the game but the feeling of playing Forza 4 just makes me want to play it, Forza 5 just doesn't have that nice feel to it.

honestly all I want is an fh1 and fh2 remaster. only things that would need to be changed atleast in my opinion is just bring in new cars or just more in general, bring in all of the upgrades and customisation options in from fh5, bring in fh5 tuning, and mmmaaayyybbbeee 5 more things at most, can't think of them at the moment but that really all I'd want in a remaster for those 2 games. if they do that there would literally be no competition for the next 10 or even 20 years and all the og forza horizon players know what I mean and could agree 100%
I will buy and play FH6 regardless, but knowing their recent track record I highly doubt it will be an improvement over Fh5. At most, the old "one step forward and 2 steps back" formula will apply, in which case I hope we might as well get the game sooner than later

Pour moi, Forza Horizon 6 sortira en 2026, et ce pour trois raisons. Tout d’abord, il est impossible que Forza Horizon 6 sorte cette année, car Forza Motorsport 8 est déjà sorti à la fin de 2023. Lancer Forza Horizon 6 en 2024 ferait de l’ombre à Forza Motorsport 8. De plus, il est peu probable de voir Forza Horizon en 2025, car Playground Games se concentre actuellement sur le développement de Fable. Enfin, 2026 serait idéal, car Xbox prévoit de lancer sa nouvelle console cette année-là. Ce serait une excellente stratégie de lancer Forza Horizon 6 avec la nouvelle Xbox, offrant ainsi une expérience visuelle inédite. Cela serait bénéfique à la fois pour Forza Horizon et pour la marque Xbox.

I mean tbh... Xbox want these games they release to make for like 4 - 6 years so... chances for Forza Horizon 6 for next year or 2026... but next year could be a... risky move due to GTA 6 release that fall 2025 or so
4-6 years? Where was this announced? FM was the only game from the franchise that they stopped the bi-yearly release and ofc now with FH5. This was never a thing before. Covid shook things up a bit but if they want to keep a game active for that long then they have to do better in terms of updates and DLC to extend the games life
