My ancestors fought and died for my country, so I could be free.
Instead of fleeing, like a coward - FIX the country you're living in so that you don't pay high taxes (if any at all), so that you don't have to pay a high cost of living, so that you don't have a bad standard of living, so you are first class citizens instead of second.
If people do what you did then of course, that society is going to get worse and you, unlike your ancestors, ran away with your tail between your legs instead of stay, fight and make your homeland the great place it once used to be.

I don't see many germans in Cyprus, most are british. Cyprus is so expensive, I don't understand why they come here. The infrastructure is bad. There are many roads especially sidewalks in bad condition. It's full of messy buildings ,cities are not impressive at all, it's so hot and dusty, they never clean the streets with water .I live in Deryneia there is a small field next to our building full of trash ,people from other areas come by car ,throw illegally their trash in our trash bin and when they are full ,the wind blows the rubbish on the field , they can't keep the island clean . There are also a lot of people who smoke cigarettes. People drive cars so much hardly someone walks or bikes and there are a lot of old cars which pollute the air which should be forbidden.
I moved to Cyprus because my husband wanted ,I thought it is similiar to Spain but no.

Poland is very xenophobic to start with, and racist. And they don't really like gay people either. The salaries are low and if you're running your own business you need to pay high monthly fees every month (circa £300) whether you're making money from it or not. People will be jealous of your success, the government is crazy (I mean, even worse than in the UK), and the only positives are: lots of nice historical places to see, lots of nature, and no terrorists. But you'll need to learn Polish, most Poles struggle with foreign languages.
And they only pay plumbers so well in the UK. In Poland every other guy knows the basics of DIY so it's not a very sought-after skill.

As for today, the cost of living is as it is, due to hyper inflation and greed. You'll find that many industries have their workforce in foreign lands, utilizing cheap labour, instead of paying their own workforce.

@@triciabaker8992 how exactly if you don’t own a house to sell or money to get a golden visa, no passive income to get into say Portugal for a D7 visa (but am working on this), highly qualified or a good pension to retire to an EU country as hoas to be over a certain amount. The only option is Ireland as far as I can find of which you need to live there for a continuous 5 years to apply for citizenship. What loopholes are you talking of as been trying to find them. Please enlighten me as am wanting to get out.

@Manifesting_Secret_Sketchbook I have an ancestral irish passport l. But I understand what your saying . Only I'm 59. I bought a modest house i in he north east of England for 50 thousand pounds in 2017 . The nhs has worked well for me to be honest. I'd be dead if I'd stayed in the states . Probably jump off a bridge after taking care of my mom 24 / 7 for 10 years on unafforable clearwater beach where they retired .
I can walk around the corner to the food store and great public transport. I get my prescriptions for close to free . I worked 5 years as a care worker 60 hours a week when I moved here I have a chronic disability now and don't have to pay property tax / council tax . No place Is perfect. But please do not judge mev unless you have walked in someone else's shoes . ✝️✝️I am greatful that the uk helps its residents . The usa unfortunately does not .

Let me ask you, where do you think is safest place to live , we live in a dangerous world the only safest place is if you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your saviour only heaven is the safest place.
