So happy you found Her Majesty lurking under the vac... This vid was a tad bitter sweet for me. Usually I would sit with my Father In Law and watch, he really enjoyed your videos Mr Ed. Sadly he suddenly got called home last Tuesday evening. I will miss doing Bee things and hanging out with him, he was more than just my FIL, he was my best friend as well.
thank you for your blessings, kind words, and for taking the time to follow along with our bee wrangling adventures. Until the next one, God's peace Janet. Mr. Ed
You are going to love next weeks post as well. Lots of setting up the new hive. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
His wife makes sure Good Time Charlie looks good. I've asked him several times if she would take care of my suit for me and he told me she is no miracle worker. Thank you so much for renewing your membership to my channel, that is so kind of you to do so. Until the next one, God's peace Rachel. Mr. Ed
At this point it would save you time to just install frames between the joists for you to pull out for the next time you have to go to this house! 🤣 Turn it into a horizontal hive!
I have toyed with the idea for years, just have not implemented it. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Brian. Mr. Ed
I truly understand the dislike for roaches, I hate them myself...they are just so nasty. However, just like mosquitos, Louisiana is a paradise for them and they are everywhere. I will say this, roaches are always found with bees, even in the bee hives. And what I find unusual, the bees tolerate their presence. If it makes you feel any better, I did kill about 8 of the critters and I felt pretty good about it. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
I grew up in Maine and my grandparents had a big beautiful magnolia like that one you showed at the beginning. It bloomed later than this obviously. This is one reason why the Northeast doesn't really have any summer dirths. The spring bloom overlaps with the summer bloom, which overlaps with the fall bloom. Just a long cold winter, although it has gotten noticeably more mild than it was when I was a kid 40 years ago.
As a beekeeper I have great respect for all blooming trees and plants as they are so important to bees, and if they are important to bees, it should make it important to us as almost all our plant foods benefit from the work bees do. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Hi fellas! I was so surprised to win a gift certificate from the good folks at hillco. I used the coupon to purchased some nuc boxes for starting my spring splits. Big thanks to you and john. God bless
Congratulations on winning the gift certificate, that was so generous of Hillco to throw in a bit extra. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Until the next one, God's peace Art. Mr. Ed
Oh ick I cannot handle the roaches. Why have I just noticed the roaches tonight as I binge watch your winter jobs? So glad we don't have roaches in our home! Makes one wonder about the quality of construction on these modern homes doesn't it? What a massive amount of bees. So glad you found the queen hiding under the vacuum! lol I'd love to be able to support you Jeff, but we are doing good to just get by right now. I'm disabled and my husband is 10 yrs my senior and on soc. sec. plus a few paint jobs a year. So I love you and with you all many blessings~ Congrats to the winners!
You already support me by simply watching my videos. Please do not worry yourself about becoming a member, it is STRICTLY OPTIONAL, and I know not everyone has the means to do so even though they really want to. Continue watching and enjoying, that is all I ask. God's peace Loren. Mr. Ed
Mr Ed I do remember this house only because of the numbers you wrote on each section. I think since the owner doesn't want to seal it up, should call it, "The swarm catcher house". Very funny the queen was trying to give you the slip by hiding under the bee vac bucket. Thank you for another great video! God Bless you and Good Time Charlie!!!!
I'm thinking the homeowner, Nicky, just likes having me and Charlie over for a visit. No matter, I always get some great bees from his house. Thanks you for your blessings and extra support. God's peace Phil. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff As it is a regular recurrence and that space seems deep enough, why don't you put a couple of boxes with frames in there. It will make the next job a lot quicker and easier and the comb will already be in frames as well. You will only need to check for the queen.
I'm delighted to share my bee wrangling adventures, thank you so much for joining in on our fun. Thanks for watching. Until the next one, God's peace Cyanna. Mr. Ed

I'm beginning to think that is the reason he won't fix the hole. In fact, I think he just bought some bees and installed them because he thinks the bees are back already. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Since you've been there so many times perhaps turn the floor space into a long hive? Install frames that would fit between the floor joists? That would expedite future removals. And the bees might even build straight comb!😁
I have contemplated putting frames in the floor for years now, I know it would work. I suppose it's time to actually do it. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed

Mr Ed, I was surprised to see the Queen under the bucket, I really thought she was going to be in the cluster of bees under the connor of the table. I just happy that you found her!

That is a nice short video.. I was a bit concerned of all the bees 🐝 flying on the room.. no smoking, because inside, but where is the vacuum? Don’t see the vacuum, I thought you guys put it on the give away😂
As the door to the room was closed, no bees got into the rest of the house. The bee vac was right there with us, and if you watch the entire video, you will find out the queen bee had walked under it which is where I found her. It is the very nature of bees to work hard, and they clean up messes extremely quickly and move on to the next job. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Steven. Mr. Ed
❤You all have gotten 6 hives out from under her bed? Why has this woman not just taken up beekeeping? You know the minute she wants 'em there, they'll all go away, right?🤪 I want so badly to be prepared to get my own bees when they fly out of my buddies wall this year. Thing is, it doesn't make sense to spend all the money to do it, only to find, maybe, it's too much (had 2 cancer surgeries last year). I wish there was a beekeeping club, to sign out the gear. Then, if a person couldn't keep up with it, whatever beekeeper helped set up, would get the boxes, queen & honey.
Besides being allergic to bees, they are terrified of them as well. I hope you manage to get those bees this year, let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace AG. Mr. Ed
Now that's a swarm trap, Way to go Mr. ED. I have one Saturday in a very old service station, in very small bathroom with little space should be interesting, do me a favor and throw me some of your luck on finding the queen, I know its skill but thought that might help. LOL Thanks for the great vid, I still need to send you one of our labels. Dennis
Here's my trick on finding the queen, say a prayer as you do the removal asking to locate her. Works almost all the time for me. Looking forward to getting your label. God's peace Dennis. Mr. Ed
Since you are in there so often, put wooden side braces along the joints...and just stick clean waxed frames in...then they will use those instead and make the next removal easier? ;) ie make it like a top bar hive but using full frames vs the top boards.
I have toyed with that idea for years now, and someday I may do just that. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Joseph. Mr. Ed
Good Morning Mr.Ed I remember the first video. It's over 10,000,000 views now. I hope u get 10 million on this one. Why do the owners let this happen so many, many times? Is it all about the honey??? Ya'll have a wonderful weekend you here!
Mug up from central NH where it is 12 degrees and windy. I still have snow and ice in my yard, but temps should be above freezing for the next 5 days. That should put the kybosh on the snow. Pollen will soon follow those temps. Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend!
Another wonderful video Mr. Ed. They really should install a revolving door for for the bees. God's blessings to you thru Lent and the upcoming Easter Time.
Delighted you enjoyed the video, and thank you so much for the Easter blessings and support through Lent....as well as for taking the time to watch the video. Until the next one, God's peace Gilly. Mr. Ed
Jeff, there is a beekeeper here in Melbourne Australia that places old clothing in the cavity after removing the bees to stop returning swarms, Regards Anton
I don't know about putting cloths in the space as they will decompose and break down. Insulation is a much better choice as it will not break down. Still, something has to take up the space in the area where the hive was to discourage the return of another colony. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
To funny. I think the reason he does not repair the area is because he likes when Charlie and I visit him every year. Thank you for your extra support and for watching all the videos. Until the next one, God's peace. Mr. Ed
That cedar shake siding is really expensive to buy and really expensive to have someone put on. No doubt in my mind that it is cheaper to have Mr. Ed come get some bees every now and again lol
Oooooh those girls were pissed!!! I bet you had a ton of stingers stuck in those rubber gloves by the time you were done. I used to live in Houston, Texas and those giant wood roaches are gross... So many of them in there when you pulled off that plywood, ugg! Great extraction. So glad you found the queen. Thanks for sharing. Hope all goes well in Oklahoma, North Carolina and on the bayou for you two!
We both took a lot of stings on this one, but surprisingly, since moving them into a hive, they have calmed down a lot! Just like mosquitos, roaches, BIG ones, love Louisiana. God's peace Carole. Mr. Ed
When I had a job, I loved Fridays as well, but now that I'm retired, everyday is a Friday for me. I'm very grateful to give you a reason to look forward to Fridays, thank you very much for allowing me to be a part of them. Thanks for watching. God's peace Marion. Mr. Ed
Her Majesty didn't know that it was Mr. Ed and Good-time Charlie here to take her to her fancy new palace at the Abbee, or she would have jumped right in the box!
If only she had known I'm sure she would have given herself up much sooner! Thanks so much for watching and leaving your comment. Until the next one, God's peace. Mr. Ed
Good afternoon, Mr Ed and Charly. The cockroaches made my skin itch and want to crawl right off my bones! You did not bat an eyelid! I would have dropped the boards in revulsion! Your bee removal was entertaining and enlightening as per usual. Blessings and favour to both of you gents, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 🇬🇧🕊👑✝️👑🕊🇬🇧
Not fast enough, I got at least 8 of them. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Irene. Mr. Ed
Looks like if you just slide some frames in there, it will make it easier when you come to collect the next batch. Kind of an expensive swarm trap but looks pretty successful, plus you get to charge rent to humans too.
I have toyed with the idea of firing out the space to accept frames for years now. Who knows, I may wind up doing that this year. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Could you hear her when I asked the question in the video? When I was doing the removal I did not hear her, but when I started the editing, that's when I heard her. In the end we got her safe and sound. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Theresa. Mr. Ed
They were roaches...and a lot of them. For some reason, bees and roaches cohabitate all the time, and as gross as it is, it's just a part of how bees operate. The good news is that the roaches do no harm to the bees, comb, or honey which is one reason the bee allow their presence. Thanks for watching. God's peace Kimberly. Mr. Ed
I have already considered doing that, and who knows, I just may do so the next time. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
It is a cool 7f here at Anchorage. this morning, no bees here today we will have to wait 3 more months. This was another great video God bless you two.
I laughed seeing the jackets… stark white and Mr Ed being grungy 😂 Man helping with a cutout like this is still on my bucket list. I doubt I’d be able or comfortable cutting out someone else’s property so I’d need to be with someone else who is used to it. But still a dream to experience this.
And my jacket is only 3 weeks old. Any time you are ready to take some stings and wrangle bees with me and Charlie, you'd be more than welcome to join us. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Since the owner won't secure the house, you have job security for life. You know that you will have at least one removal a year. The damage done over and over, could be prevented by blocking access. He must enjoy your company and visits.
Little damage done by now, the floor boards are already cut, so can easily be lifted without doing further damage. As it is a regular recurrence and that space seems deep enough, I would recommend putting a couple of boxes with frames in there. It will make the next job a lot quicker and easier and the comb will already be in frames as well. The only thing left is to check for the queen.
I don't have any problem going back to Nick's every year. Since I don't charge him anything to do the removal, he's very happy with the arrangement and the yearly visit. Thanks for watching. God's peace Grandma. Mr. Ed
I have tried 3 different types of headlights, and none worked the way I liked. It still is the best light by me holding the flashlight either with my hand or teeth. Thanks for watching. God's peace Ron. Mr. Ed
Dang, Charlie is hungry! He’s ready for lunch. 🤣🤣🤣 Charlie and I would be good friends. I will be flying right over you around 4:45pm. Tampa to Dallas. I will dip the wing as I go by. God’s blessing brothers. ps; Both my hives are coming out of winter strong. Thank you Jesus! They will be testing my swarm control skills, soon I fear. 😬
I thought I saw a wing dip, thanks for thinking of me as you flew over. I'll be headed to Dallas on Friday and on to Tulsa to speak at the Oklahoma Beekeepers Conference on Saturday. I know you are excited to try out your swarm prevention methods, I'll begin mine as soon as I get back from New Bern on the 9th from speaking to the North Carolina Beekeepers Conference. Busy month and loving every minute of it. Thank yu for your blessings and your extra support. God's peace Brian. Mr. Ed
Jeff, when you first pulled the floor up, I thought what a nice little hive. And then you kept pulling comb out - it was like a magicians 🎩 hat trick. You just kept pulling slab after slab. Great video! You and Charlie do great work.
Hey Tom! Where are you guys these days? Hope all is well and the road kind to you. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks so much for watching and checking in. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff Hi Jeff, we wintered in Arizona this year. No fun for Beekeepers out here. Bad Bees! We are starting our travels again in a couple weeks and are heading to Texas for the solar Eclipse. May be out your way towards the end of April. I'll drop you a note if we get close.
That magnolia was amazing and you make bee wrangling look so easy (and I know it isn't!). That homeowner knows who to call for sure. I'm thinking a can of spray foam would prevent that being an attractive place for the bees, but hey, it's a good source of bees for the Abbey!
Bees laugh at spray foam, they chew right through it. The only way to seal this house up would be using steel wool or fiberglass packing placed in the cracks, because they are so large, and siliconing over it. Regardless, like you said, it's a great source of free bees for the abbey. God's peace Jeff. Mr. Ed
I don’t know if you’ve ever done a video about what types of bees make up a hive. I hear you talk about drones but I’m not sure what they do. I’d like to know. Thank you.
Drones are the male honey bee, and their only role in a hive is to mate with a queen bee. The reason there are so many of them is drones flood the area they are in in hopes of mating with queens in the area. Once mating season is over, and if the drone did not mate and die, it returns to a hive until fall when it is pushed out of the hive to starve. Thanks for watching and asking. God's peace Janet. Mr. Ed
Looked like another sweet spot for another hive and the queen trying to be indisposed. We have 2 daffodils blooming here but several ready to [pop out when the rain quits but we thank Our God for the rain too. Have a Jesus weekend and God Bless Yall from us hillbillies

If I even hear a single bee in my house I'm running, screaming, for the front door slapping at my ears like they're on fire. This guy stands in a literal room full of bees, no mask on, and doesn't even flinch. Absolute madman.

Can't help but say, If the homeowner is set on leaving the floor space as swarm traps, why not lean into it? Scrounge some shallow frames with comb. Set up a rail system, and make each joist space a partial long box? "Furnish the house" for the next swarm. Seems that the time to set up is gained back on the first wrangling.
I have been toying with the idea of putting frames in the floor of this house for years. This may finally be the year I do it. The house is a very expensive swarm trap. If the homeowner ever fixes the holes in the siding you should ask to place a swarm trap in that ideal location.
I have placed traps there in the past and have caught bees. However, because it is over 50 miles away, it is inconvenient to travel the distance and rebait the trap so I have stopped doing that. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. Them roches you got down there are BIG! I never saw anything like that. The bees were calm until you started cutting out the comb that stayed in the floor. I can tell it's bad when the bees start attacking the camera. Do you ever clean the camera to get the pheromones off?
We grow all kinds of critters really big down here, the weather is perfect for it. For some reason bees just don't like the camera. That poor thing has taken some serious hits over the years, and yes, I do clean it off with alcohol from time to time. Thanks for watching. God's peace Keith. Mr. Ed
The bed room door is closed, but as long as there is a window in the room, the bees will automatically head to that as it is the nearest source of light and they want to fly to light. No doubt the honey will taste different as the nectar source is going to be different at the abbey. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. God's peace Annette. Mr. Ed

To my knowledge, there is nothing on the market that will discourage a swarm from entering a spot where a previous hive has been, at least permanently. The reason a swarm is attracted is due to the propolis that has been impregnated into the wood, that scent NEVER dissipates. If you want to become an instant millionaire, be the first to come up with the formula to mask the propolis scent permanently. The best way to discourage the return of a new swarm is closing all the entrances to the spot and filling completely the void in the space with insulation. Safe travels brother. God's peace Shawn. Charlie’s suit is looking far too clean 😆
His wife makes sure Good Time Charlie looks good. I've asked him several times if she would take care of my suit for me and he told me she is no miracle worker. Thank you so much for renewing your membership to my channel, that is so kind of you to do so. Until the next one, God's peace Rachel.
Mr. Ed
Afternoon, Charlie. You too, Mr Ed.
She pulled a slick one! Ya never know where she'll bee.
Thanks for sharing and God bless
That she did, but we still found her, thank you Jesus! Thanks for watching. God's peace Tim.
Mr.
Mr. Ed
My skin just crawled when the cockroaches skittered away. Eeewe! I’m a Northern girl for sure, Pacific NW. Do they bother the bees?
Mr. Ed
We appreciate you so much. We dont take your efforts for granted.
The bees are behind door number two! You guys have to much fun!
It's true, we really do have to much fun. Thank goodness you can't get arrested for that. God's peace Tom.
Mr. Ed
Charlie good luck fishing and Mr Ed have a great safe trip. Looking forward to more videos.
That is crazy cool. Probably not for the home owners, but for us. Thank you to all of the merry bee wranglers, love you all.
Another great job guys. You make a good team. Love your vids. Keep up the great work.
Man I love these vids. It just makes my day
Wait till you see next weeks video, you are really going to love it Steve. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Loved this video, regards from Perth Australia.
Thank you Robyn, and thank you for watching as well. Until the next one, God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Love watching you do this! Really liked seeing all the comb pulled at once and laid out, then put into frames.
I'm delighted to share my bee wrangling adventures, thank you so much for joining in on our fun. Thanks for watching. Until the next one, God's peace Cyanna.
Mr. Ed
Another great “Thank you Jesus” moment. Thanks Mr. Ed and GTC for all the effort.
Mr. Ed, you should go ahead and install hinges on each of the "doors" so you can just open them as needed.
I agree, it would be a lot simpler to lift the plywood up that way. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Please install some frames on those floorboards or a hive under that floor. 😊
I have been toying with that very idea for years now. Who know, I may actually do it soon. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Mark.
Mr. Ed
I love those maggnolia trees, so beautiful in bloom. I had a small one in my yard before I moved loved it!💕
Great to watch you handle the bees sure more than I could do! Fun video
I'm a big fan of the Japanese Magnolias as well, such a gorgeous bloom. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Beverly.
Mr. Ed
Another great video! I hope you didn't vac up any of those cockroaches. 😂
That guy just likes having the Mr. Ed and Goot Time Charlie come over. That would be a fairly easy repair.
I'm beginning to think that is the reason he won't fix the hole. In fact, I think he just bought some bees and installed them because he thinks the bees are back already. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
He probably sprays swarm commander in there soon as you leave
They might have to get him a real hive.

Mr Ed, I was surprised to see the Queen under the bucket, I really thought she was going to be in the cluster of bees under the connor of the table. I just happy that you found her!
I thought she would be under the table as well, but once again, surprise. Thanks for watching. God's peace Don.

Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. Mr. Ed
It is amazing how the bees can take those franken frames and clean them up. It would be cool to see what the frames look like every couple weeks.
It is the very nature of bees to work hard, and they clean up messes extremely quickly and move on to the next job. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Steven.

Hi Mr Ed and good time Charlie I carnt find my queen I’m going back in and going to try again with less smoke
Good idea, and try saying a prayer, it always works for me. God's peace Nola.
Mr. Ed
❤You all have gotten 6 hives out from under her bed? Why has this woman not just taken up beekeeping? You know the minute she wants 'em there, they'll all go away, right?🤪
I want so badly to be prepared to get my own bees when they fly out of my buddies wall this year.

Now that's a swarm trap, Way to go Mr. ED. I have one Saturday in a very old service station, in very small bathroom with little space should be interesting, do me a favor and throw me some of your luck on finding the queen, I know its skill but thought that might help. LOL
Thanks for the great vid, I still need to send you one of our labels. Dennis
Here's my trick on finding the queen, say a prayer as you do the removal asking to locate her. Works almost all the time for me. Looking forward to getting your label. God's peace Dennis.
Mr. Ed
Good morning sir! Wish I could have made it when you were there. I'll make another trip one of these days.
Looking forward to the day, see you then. God's peace Thomas.
Mr.

Looking forward to our April Zoom! God's peace Brice.
Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff Indeed, I am as well, Have a great week Jeff. I'll see you on Friday! Thanks for being you.
These bees would probably eat the clothing! 😊 But good idea. Too bad the homeowner doesn't fix the problem by closing off the entry points.
Mr. Ed
This homeowner should just open the bedroom window and put bee boxes in the room. That makes about as much sense as not sealing or fixing the siding.
To funny. I think the reason he does not repair the area is because he likes when Charlie and I visit him every year. Thank you for your extra support and for watching all the videos. Until the next one, God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Maybe you could router the joist enough to put a dozen frames in there. Make the removal easier next year.
Maybe they can't afford new siding, we don't know their situation
That cedar shake siding is really expensive to buy and really expensive to have someone put on. No doubt in my mind that it is cheaper to have Mr. Ed come get some bees every now and again lol
@@thornehauser9511 you could seal the gap without relacing the siding

Good afternoon, Mr Ed and Charly. The cockroaches made my skin itch and want to crawl right off my bones!

I would have dropped the boards in revulsion!
Your bee removal was entertaining and enlightening as per usual.

Before you started removing comb i heard Her Majesty piping but you were talking over her song. I bet you could have found her pretty easy then.
Mr. Ed
We're those roaches or wood beetles or what? Never considered bees having roommates lol
Mr. Ed
You should put frame holders inside the floor and make the next removal easy, they're apparently in a good spot, you already cut the lids...

I laughed seeing the jackets… stark white and Mr Ed being grungy 😂
Man helping with a cutout like this is still on my bucket list.
Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff I wish that would be so fantastic but I’m in East Tennessee 😭

Mr. Ed

With the increase in fuel prices and cost of living in general have you considered charging a small fixed fee for removals?
On some of the removals there is a charge, but for those who are in need it will always be for free. Thanks for watching. God's peace Andrew.
Mr. Ed
We not fixing it. Would be easier to wrangle if the space were filled up with a custom made swarm box?
I have considered for years now about making the space compatible to accept frames, I just have not gotten around to doing that yet. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Jess.
Mr. Ed
Can't help but say,
If the homeowner is set on leaving the floor space as swarm traps, why not lean into it?
Scrounge some shallow frames with comb. Set up a rail system, and make each joist space a partial long box? "Furnish the house" for the next swarm.
Seems that the time to set up is gained back on the first wrangling.
I have been toying with the idea of putting frames in the floor of this house for years. This may finally be the year I do it. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Robert.
Mr. Ed
That job is becoming a habit 😊
That it is, but we always get some great bees from this location which is why I do not mind returning. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Patrick.
Mr. Ed
Mr. Ed
Dream Big brother 🙏
Will the next one be door number 1 or ........
With a bit of luck and a bit more common sense, the next one will already be in a box ready to be lifted out.
How do you keep the bees from the rest of the house? And will the honey taste different since you move them? Great video! God bless you!
Mr. Ed

I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 14 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace.

Did u see Shelby the swamp man ,that's his neck of the woods
I look for him all the time, but have yet to see him...even at WalMart. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. Mr. Ed
Did you borrow the green veil from the Dirt Rooster? Safe travels to you Jeff and Charlie needs to show pictures of his fish.
No, I stole it from him but don't tell him. I'll get Charlie to bring pictures of his fish catches, he'll love showing them off. God's peace Phillip.
Mr. Ed
Im a bit curious on why shed be pipping as an established queen. Or perhaps there may have been another one hiding?
She was not pipping, her sound was a continuous one where as pipping is intermittent. I believe she was sounding off because she was trapped under fallen comb. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Kelly.
Mr. Ed
Sweet smeeling person might be living there.
Actually, the reason the bees keep coming back is because so many other colonies of bees have been there previously. And when the next colony moves in, I will go get it.I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 14 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. Mr. Ed
Is there something you can put in there to discourage the bees from making a new hive in there?
To my knowledge, there is nothing on the market that will discourage a swarm from entering a spot where a previous hive has been, at least permanently. The reason a swarm is attracted is due to the propolis that has been impregnated into the wood, that scent NEVER dissipates. If you want to become an instant millionaire, be the first to come up with the formula to mask the propolis scent permanently. The best way to discourage the return of a new swarm is closing all the entrances to the spot and filling completely the void in the space with insulation. Safe travels brother. God's peace Shawn.
