    I am in LOVE with your green room! I've got about the same thing going on; but I need some tips for chroma keyeing! I have like 8 different filters set to catch all the different tones of green. Is that like... okay?? it looks insane.

    • @AtomBombBody
      @AtomBombBody  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Woah jeez! That's a lot haha! I'd probably just use the eyedropper that's built into LIV (once you pop out the color picker, theres an eye dropper top left on that window that you can grab and drop somewhere). Drop it over the most common shade of green you have, or experiment with other spots that seem to help it key out the best. It'll be a lot of fine tuning with the threshold/smoothness. You should get a decent key, unless your shades are all over the place. Otherwise it's probably a lighting issue! Brighter, even distributed light is always the key!

    On my walls I bought a 24 pack of neon green posterboard and use command strips to tack it to the wall. I have stucko walls, horribly textured. And I'm renting/ :( so paint was a no. But I cover my ceiling and walls, and then hung green curtains over the windows that I black out with black foam board. For the carpet; I got thick plywood and covered it with greenscreen fabric and stapled it on and it just floats over my carpet. Its such a sturdy place to stand; I've even made it into my home gym. Heavily considering covering the workout gear with frog tape and being a weeirdo somehow xD

    I have a question. I've tried Liv and it did work just as I expected and I love it. I use the automatic background removal. When you first align your controllers with the red plus sign right infront of the camera. I can never get myself in it. The other two red plus signs work and have me in the picture but the first one doesn't??? Why is this?

    • @AtomBombBody
      @AtomBombBody  ปีที่แล้ว

      What do you mean by you cant get yourself in it? It *should* automatically turn off the chroma key so you can see your room in the preview but if its not behaving this way i recommend just turning off the chroma key toggle before calibration. Then for the first x just make sure your controller touches the lens of your camera before clicking the trigger.

  • @lajlavalentine

    i have a question. Did you use 2 different cameras to record this video or just one? because lets say on calibration 5:39 moment u have a camera what is looking at the wall, then later about 7:09 your camera is looking at the corner. So whats the real position on camera when you do a calibration etc? It looks like its in 2 different places so it makes me confused and as evryone knows when you mobe camera, your whole calibration will be broken. :(

    • @AtomBombBody
      @AtomBombBody  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I move my camera around a lot depending on the shot I want to get, I'll also change to a wide angle lens if I need to get full body in. Technically if you add something like a Vive tracker to the top of your camera you can move it around without having to calibrate, but that's if your headset is on. If you turn everything off and move your camera then yes you will have to re calibrate. I have a mirrorless camera I use for more of my higher end shots but for tutorials I have a wide angle webcam that just sits on the top of my monitor and dosen't move.

    • @lajlavalentine
      @lajlavalentine 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AtomBombBody i use oculus 2 and having a lot of problems with calibration, smal move of camera makes controllers in game uncalibrated again. Thats why i was so suprised how you doing it.
