So glad this video popped into my feed today! I've been fortunate to have come across some of your inspiring content and interviews since I started with my own pelvic pain journey back in March. It took months of confusion and agony while being bounced around the healthcare system until I was finally pointed in the right direction. Many antibiotics later (and the pandemic permitting), I was at long last able to get with a great male pelvic floor PT and properly address things. As Tom mentioned, having agency over your pain is key. Thanks to a lot of time, hard work and people like yourselves I have finally regained control of my health and more importantly MY LIFE!!
Sidenote: this is my first time making any kind of public statement about my issues

Compassion, time, and honesty about the complexity of this condition is what ALL practitioners should start with.............none of this is present from MOST US medical professionals because their insurance doctrine says they have 10 minutes to diagnose and prescribe some pill. THAT is why men are frustrated with the medical community and THAT is why they have no answers because the system is built on the quick fix of tests and pharmaceuticals. That is my experience and I am sticking to it!

      Hi Glyn,
I recommend checking out the book Heal Your Pain Now by Dr. Joe Tatta. His book talks extensively about the ketogenic diet for pain. He also has a podcast that is packed with great expert interviews and recently did one on the keto diet www.integrativepainscienceinstitute.com/podcasts/. Hope this helps!
