Paul- I run the magic app on a laptop too and then connect out via HDMI to a large TV for race viewing. Works great and all 6 racers can see the screen.

It sounds like you tried a number of other methods first? So did I. Magic Arc on the laptop with an HDMI out to a TV is absolutely the best setup at this time.
Small repeat to my comment on your original video: to get the most out of ARC (all flavors) I highly recommend this page: slotracer.online/community/showthread.php?tid=181 Note that you have the latest hardware revision with this set which is why those curved lane changers work. Earlier version might have problems with the curved lane changers. Workarounds are covered in the link above and on the Scalextric forum dedicated to ARC: www.scalextric.com/uk-en/forum/arc/?p=1
oh no, the cars just keep going. you can have yellow flags by pressing a button on the controller, but u need to set that up and have rules, like does the person who crashed do it or just the first person to do it?
@@Snyarf Ok thanks, I was wondering because i watched a race on youtube, anytime a car went off the track the other cars stopped. The drivers must have been stopping their cars themselves.

does that laptop have bluetooth 4 or above? my laptop connects but then straight away disconnects

If a car goes off the track, would that immediately stop all the other cars on the track?
