will carrera 1:32 cars work w/ this track and could you add the digital plug to it as weel?
I used to love the controllers in the late seventies, they got really hot and gave you a small electric shock. I feel like I might indulge with this swanky upgrade?

You're right about it saying "pit lane included". It's on the side of the box- you can clearly see it when you're showing the contents. Bit naughty that.

I bought this set around the same time as you. Played with it for a few weeks, then got really bored. I guess cars going round, and round, and round, just ain't my thing. And yes, I did extend it with extra track, pit lane and even some scenery. It was a bit of fun for a while, but grew old real quick. So BORING. It worked great though I have to admit. No issues at all.
does that laptop have bluetooth 4 or above? my laptop connects but then straight away disconnects
Loved the video mate, would love to see more of the Scalextric covered on your channel and you can hear the enthusiasm that you have. Used to love this back in the day aswell, had the Dunlop bridge also :-)

No, not "Arc Pro" cars. Digital cars. You use DPR (Digital Plug Ready) cars and you insert the digital plug into each car. That makes the car digital and then you can change lanes, pit etc
@@Snyarf is the digital plug hard to insert

Small repeat to my comment on your original video: to get the most out of ARC (all flavors) I highly recommend this page: slotracer.online/community/showthread.php?tid=181 Note that you have the latest hardware revision with this set which is why those curved lane changers work. Earlier version might have problems with the curved lane changers. Workarounds are covered in the link above and on the Scalextric forum dedicated to ARC: www.scalextric.com/uk-en/forum/arc/?p=1
Should have actually unboxed everything in the 'unboxing video' and you would have found this set DOES NOT include a Corner lane change track as you stated in the video. I thought with the length of the video you were going to set up the basic track and run the cars to show us a lane change....maybe next time. I bought this set prior to watching the video, and agree its a great top of the line starter set, especially for a previous Sport Track user.
I'm sorry, wtf are you? Where does it say I have to do what you tell me? If you wanted a full unboxing video, then you make one. In case you didn't realise, I'm not a professional "youtuber" and just made the video for a bit of fun and to help some people out.
If a car goes off the track, would that immediately stop all the other cars on the track?
oh no, the cars just keep going. you can have yellow flags by pressing a button on the controller, but u need to set that up and have rules, like does the person who crashed do it or just the first person to do it?
@@Snyarf Ok thanks, I was wondering because i watched a race on youtube, anytime a car went off the track the other cars stopped. The drivers must have been stopping their cars themselves.
It sounds like you tried a number of other methods first? So did I. Magic Arc on the laptop with an HDMI out to a TV is absolutely the best setup at this time.
Paul- I run the magic app on a laptop too and then connect out via HDMI to a large TV for race viewing. Works great and all 6 racers can see the screen.

It's great. Good cars, the app is easy enough. It does not come with a curve lane change though, I thought it did. C7008 or C7009. But they're easy to get if u wanted one.
