This inquisitive look at the expansive RE-202 Space Echo has Dave running down what the original Roland units did incredibly well: suddenly inspired moments of beauty preceded and/or followed by total chaos, noise and confusion.
There is no question that this latest iteration of the infamous tape echo works phenomenally well as an analog delay pedal. However, a few wrong (right) knob adjustments later, and the true brilliance of this enigmatic machine is brought to the forefront.
