BG, you recently asked was there any live band concert performance the equal of Band Maid - and while I also rank Band Maid the most consistently good, there are a handful of other band performances that also rank as epic - MtH has a number of those, mainly due to their intensely loyal fans and mass crowd participation at concerts - I know that you've seen the "Koi No Sperma" live performance - MtH concerts have that wild, joyful, fun feel to them also. Unfortunately they rarely tour now - but once experienced, never forgotten. Cheers for the reactions!
There is an MV for this one... which as you'd expect is confusing when it starts, unless you know the band. It is also one of the songs associated with the anime Death Note. Nao one of my favourite drummers, and one of the coolest Mums in rock ;)
As far as the SOAD comparison goes, I have heard plenty of people say this and I understand why. But I wouldn't call MTH modern though, they are somewhat contemporaries with SOAD and haven't released a lot of new music anymore since 2013. MTH formed in 1997 and SOAD in 1994, so they are pretty close age wise. This track is from their 2007 album and the track was used for the Death Note anime back in the day.
