@@MisterKaribOfficiel Here we see a wild Prog elitist in his natural habitat. Notice how I presented a personal opinion about my tastes comparing two of my favorite bands yet he takes it as an insult to an artist. Fascinating creatures aren't they?
I was just thinking this reminded me very much of the new LTE tune, but it is better mixed. In particular, the balance between guitar and keyboards is better with this one. Personally, I prefer the LTE guitar sound to the 'jazzier' one here, but that's just my subjective feeling about that. No reason why we can't enjoy both bands!
It is the best riff I've heard out of this genre to be really frank. These guys are insanely talented musicians, some of the best, if not the best (as people would argue in the comments about this LOL).
I’m gonna reveal my age here… reminds me of the GRP stuff in the late 80’s. Grusin, Ritenour, Laboriel, Mason. That stuff was magical, as is this. Obviously, this has more punch but it still takes me there. Bravissimo, Arch Echo!! Fan for life!!!! (I’m gonna be 62).
I had not realized he was doing some engineering work on his band and outside his band. Seems like very band he's worked with I love. Not a coincidence.
He ALWAYS looks like that. They all always look like they love what they're doing and are having a blast. I'm a singer, not a musician but if I had to remember and execute stuff that complex, I'd look like I was trying to dead lift 500 lbs.
YES! I'm glad they stick with their best characteristics; the music, the players and their instrument. Beautiful cinematography of those aspects in film, absolutely love it. These guys are an absolute joy to see live and this clip perfectly translates that, bravo!
You guys continue to just blow what's left of my mind with every release. And you MEMORIZE this stuff?!?!? Holy shit. I can't remember if I'm on my first or second cup of coffee most days. The songwriting is just beyond extra on every level and so entertaining. Plus you're all just a blast to watch. I'm an old guy who was listening to Chick Corea and Return to Forever, Al Di Meola, Stanley Clarke, Jaco, Weather Report, etc, etc. back in my youth and they opened my mind to what was possible back then. And now you guys, Plini, Periphery, Monuments, Jakub Zytecki, I Built The Sky, Intervals, Foi, Sithu, Marco Sfogli, Andy James, Atomic Guava...and so many other amazing YOUNG artists are pushing boundaries so far beyond (as if 6 strings wasn't challenging enough). It's enthralling to experience and yes, as so many others have said, helps lift our spirits above the madness of these chaotic current days. Thank you for all you do to make this magic for us all. I for one, am feelin' the love.
Ha, I'm probably half your age and I love all the artists and musicians you listed from he late 60's-70's. Then In the same thought thinking how I love practically every modern prog band you listed. Music truly has no age limit or time frame. If its good, it good. Main reason I became a musician 20 years ago.
@@arrestedshrimp Jakub is amazing, but I prefer his earlier playing and find his newer compositions a little too 'ethereal' for my tastes. Having said that, he's an artist - it's his prerogative to grow and move.
Holy shit, just found out about you guys and I'm completely blown away. I was smiling/laughing this entire video/song, it's just so much fun to listen to and watch you play. So freaking dope.
Wow, what a song! Also, whoever mixed/mastered this did a ridiculously good job. Just listened on my crappy phone with no headphones and it still sounded amazing
no doubt tthey are very talented just a bit too cookie cuttery of modern "chuggy" bands for an everyday listen if i wanna listen to Plini i will listen to Plini
I am here because I have Dream Theater tickets and these guys are the opener. Never heard of Arch Echo. Wow. Went straight to itunes and bought the self titled. Thats going to be a show!
LOVE it! I have ordered this EP ... ON VINYL... at Sheet Happens Publishing yesterday, together with another one full album (2LP)....on vinyl as well. I'm from St-Petersburg, Russian Federation. Good luck for Arch Echo, for everyone! Long live Djent/ProgMet!!!!
Thank you so much. I'm so glad I've discovered you some years ago: you helped me discover my own "voice" as a musician and my own unique style, and I can never stop telling you how grateful I am that you started making music Thank you so Much
3 instrumental projects you can count on to be beyond impressive, write memorable songs, and not get lost in the wankery....arch echo, intervals, I built the sky.... the rest of em could learn something from you guys on how to write a song! Amazing!
discovered this band in 2020, and hearing “Stella” and “immediate results” honestly brightened my year so much. I can’t wait for you guys to gain millions of followings! wish i could see a live show here in AZ ❤️
3:44 it wasn’t until today that I heard the Hip Dipper quote. I’m so mad 🥲
it is there for u ❤️
Thanks so much for the support on this EP everyone! Onto the next ❤️

2:28 🔥🔥👂👂
Not gonna lie, this is what I wish the new liquid tension experiment sounded like. THIS is modern prog
Exactly! Me as well
This is nothing near LTE, LTE is LTE, you can't ask Petrucci to compose a song like this.

So... what year does AE become the most famous and respected Prog Metal band of all time? Absolutely incredible.
i know right!

1:07 - Some tight, on-point playing right there. The control, the attack, the precision, the soul.... incredible.
I had the same perception, dude
Arch Echo, Owane and Jakub... I´ve survived the 2020 because of you guys. Thanks for your amazing songs!
Haven't heard of Jakub, but if they're in such a prestigious list I guess I know what I'm doing for the rest of the day!

As it should. I can definitely say that I love the route they are taking.
Mine is To The Moon, but I can't skip this one!
You should try another song named 'Color Wheel' and listen it with your best headphone!
Agree! the best song of the EP hands down.
Adam Bentley deserves some praise for the incredible mixing work on this. Well done, all of you.
