    Paying CEOs and executives millions to fail at their jobs doesn't compute in a free market system.

      CEOs and executives make less than basketball players and baseball players. A lot of them are underpaid you know it. I know it. Everyone knows it stop acting like they make more than the average third base person and major-league baseball.

    I just went to a dealership yesterday and was talking to a salesman about a used Toyota truck (4.0L V6) and he tried to show me these trucks (turbo v4) and I laughed and said those are a joke and will not last 100k miles without severe issues. He basically nodded in agreement. They’re not selling these trucks very much at all.

  • @titusllewelyn
    @titusllewelyn วันที่ผ่านมา +11

    They can keep them. A four cylinder turbo means high RPM and low engine life. I have owner two Tundras. The first one was the smaller version and had a V6. The latter one was the V8. After many miles the engines showed no signs of wear. They burned no oil and could tow anything. There was nothing wrong with them when I traded them in.
    Gasoline engines are essentially air compressors. If you can get more air through the engine then you get more horsepower. The same goes by running them at more RPM.
    What a buch of lidiots for designing and making them this way.

    YoY MSRP increased from 31,500 to 37,800 for the SR. 2024s were not in the 20s. The new gen-price is absurd but they weren't high 20s.

    I knew this day would come, Toyota would go over to the side of the axis of evil.
    Toyota is not guilty, Toyota has been forced to offer unreliable mechanics and disastrous engines.
    We must understand that all car corporations get together and establish THE PATTERNS OF PLANNED OBSOLECENCE that all brands must comply with.
    Toyota managed to evade these poor quality restrictions but already in 2024 Toyota failed to evade them...

    Fords also been doing turbos way longer. My old ranger from the Australia days a decade ago gets the same gas mileage as these. They may even last longer since fords been making turbo engines for well over a decade to work out issues

    Those add on's that you keep mentioning is how the dealer ordered it from the factory not what they added to the trucks sitting on the lots. People might want to watch your video again some of those SR models for over 45k weren't even 4 wheel drive.

    Tom, love your videos. But the prices here are so much better than the US manufacturers. You can say Toyota is going down in quality, and may be true, but I'd buy one of these ten times over any Jeep, Dodge, Ford or Chevy OVERPRCIED piece of crap. Vehicles you've shown on your channel.

      Toyota has very good quality but the 2025’s are way, way over priced and they went to turbo charged instead of naturally aspirated.

    They need to bring the Toyota Hilux Champ in now. That'll invigorate their sales. I keep hearing the $12k sales number floating around. Honestly it'll be double the price tag just to meet with the US regulation.
