      I had baked chicken in Hongdae when I went to Korea with my mum. The soy garlic flavour was so delicious. I'll never forget it. The place was called Noona Holdak for anyone visiting Hongdae, Seoul.

    I used the 1st marinade for my baked chicken. I will be adding this to my usual recipes. It just tasted so good. The Soy Honey sauce is super good too. Thank you!!

    also, during marinating period. you can cut the tendons on one side so when you cook it, the meat clumps up on where the other tendon is attached, and also make the marinate penetrate easier

    Both me and my husband love your channel, especially the goofy good natured humour of Aaron and the chilled out happy nature of Claire. I love the fact that Aaron cooks and Claire loves to eat! This is so opposite to the traditional stereotype. It's the same with us. I also like that you make Korean recipes so simple for us non-Koreans. Can you also create a video for different recipes with tofu, especially spicy recipes? I love tofu but I don't know what all can be made with it.

    There's a Korean fired chicken place down the street of where I live. That was the first time I tried Soy Garlic chicken, and I can't believe it's taken me this long to come across that amazing flavor! But these are all flavors I love, so adding more recipes to my book haha

    Interesting that you use Panda Brand oyster sauce.
    Found this also in a supermarket and was surprised that it only has 11 % oyster extract.
    In an Asian market I found a Thai brand with 30 % oyster extract.
    Guess it's save to say here, the more the better, or?

    Man, when I was in Dongducheon, there was this fried chicken place that the Korean soldiers we worked with would always take us to. I can't for the life of me remember the name. but the chicken was perfectly friend, and covered in this sauce that was super sticky, sweet and very spicy. Like, I truly want to visit South Korea again because I liked the people and the culture... but also to eat that chicken again! :D

    Hey, Aaron! Thanks for the wonderful recipes. I just have a question about the chicken stock. I can‘t find it where i live, but i do have powdered chicken bouillon. Will that work too? How much of it do i need to match the amount of chicken stock that you use in your recipes?

    I don't know if you or anyone else can answer this question, but is there a difference in Korean corn syrup and like Kero brand corn syrup I can get in the US? I want to try these recipes but my Korean super market is having trouble getting stock with the pandemic.

    I've tried a spicy soy garlic here in the U.S. and I love it. Do you know of a spicy soy garlic recipe?! It's my favorite. I have to drive over an hour to sometimes get this type of Korean wings 😂. Though worth it

    Also.. same.. when I was young, every time I came to Korea all I could remember was Pelicana fried chicken sauce and how grandma's house was too far from a Pelicana and there weren't delivery apps then so I had to be content with farmer's market fried chicken and come home dreaming of Pelicana chicken

      Its more like ‘chicken stock concentrate’ rather than just regular chicken stock

    South Korea is my go to place when I want a relaxing vacation and it's impossible for me not to eat Korean Fried Chicken when I'm there... I will try this one as soon as I get the ingredients! Thank you as always!

    I was excited to try to soy garlic but idk if he forgot a few steps but mine came out SOOO bland, like water & soy sauce. it says soy GARLIC, but he didnt add any garlic...
