We truly appreciate your comment Mr. Gladly. Thank you so kindly for viewing, appreciating the attention to detail, and taking the time to type a few kind words! The top-notch living historians and director involved did an absolutely outstanding job- even securing the same property used in the film “Gettysburg” as the location! It was such a pleasure to secure the accounts, select narrators, edit, and create the story component of this peace. Talk again soon! Thank you!
I've always admired so many lost in a senseless war, such as the Civil War..no wonder lot of Confederates killed, bein ordered to charge head-on into gun fire. There seems to have been no tactics really on the Confederate side taught to the boys/men, after joining and many forced to join,by the generals and lieutenants that supposedly had more training in battles, cause most joined were too young, farmers, settlers that had never been trained, taught how to fight in such battles. So many lives on both sides lost, that I felt was deeply regretted afterwards when the war ended. So many then opened their eyes to what had occurred, the death toll, the families who suffered, their homes destroyed, food shortages, the wounded left helpless, mostly everyone then asked themselves..why?.. A very hard, sad war, and all should be remembered for their part.. thanks for the video..
Thank you so kindly my friend. I feel that the real words of the men who fought are the perfect storytelling mode when contextualized, while the dramatization or “reenactment” perfectly places the audience in the midst of the battle, bringing much greater meaning to the very words being spoken.
Our pleasure Bruce. I believe that telling this story in a 360 degree manner was truly the perfect choice considering the footage available. I stayed up until 2AM many a night searching for the perfect accounts that could line up with the narrative depicted here. These truly hit the mark, and thus, I am so thrilled that the video did with you! Stay tuned for the Bull Run documentary. Announcement coming this weekend!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words, they really do mean a lot! I work very hard to pay attention to the little details during the editing process, whilst my partners were incredibly detail oriented during the shoot. It’s all about the story, the characters, and the authenticity; when portraying these historical events. Don’t believe I have seen you comment on the channel. Hope to see you here soon once again!
Thank you so very kindly my friend! Your words and generosity are much appreciated! I am honored to tell you that not only do I have an Instagram account, but it is now official verified and should be more easy to find than ever! Please do give it a search and feel free to shoot me a message on there.
Hollywood should take notes
That is so very kind of you Amy! Thank you.
Another great video! Thank you for all your hard work and commitment to accurately portraying a very complicated battle.
