Hometown hero. I went to school with Danny ,played ball with him. He always had what it takes to make it big in whatever he wanted to do. God has huge plans for you my friend. You are an inspiration.
Ian, this has legit become one of my Top 3 favorite podcasts of all time. Your kind nature and being so humble is refreshing with everyone these days thinking they’re so self important on social media. You have the “it” factor. Keep it up brother.
I like this dude. I had an insane drug problem and if someone would have given me $175k at once at his age, I would def be dead. Glad he made it out of that and he’s thriving!!
I had that kind of money at that age(200k from my dads life insurance money) and it was gone in 2 years from drugs and alcohol. Idk how i survived it but somehow i did. I guess my dad was watching over me.
@@EazymoneyBicch.. Indeed..props to you,HOMIE..LIVE YOUR LIFE🙏🏿😌
Me n you both brother
You show such compassion and kindness wow you should be so proud!
@@EazymoneyBicchman same here I spent every single dollar I got until a year ago towards drugs. I finally got sober and started saving money instead of taking taking taking
I am pulling for this guy. He gets it. The whole interview he didn't blame anyone. Very Humble!
This man clearly changed his life in prison to be speaking out about racism and white supremacy. 😮 He be dropping FACTS
Yo!!! That ear necklace story is wild!
fantastic interview Ian...my favorite so far. I agree with Danny about prisoner reform. Perps have paid their debt when they leave prison, they shouldn't have to deal with the employment/housing blocks that follow.
We can’t even get an Airbnb smh
He nailed the gateway to addiction...he is 100% right on that
Ian thanks for these podcasts. Daniel, thanks for being open and sharing your struggles and redemption.
Excellent interview thank you Ian. I agree with him, your authenticity shows and is appreciated.
Thanks!
Hey Ian. I saw your interview on another channel. I can't believe that you went through so much bro. Glad your on the come up. Love your interviews, and content. Keep up the great work.
Thanks so much🙏💪
But seriously…this dude DC is humble as f*ck…& I respect his inner growth & self evolution.
This is a great podcast. Thank you for coming on and talking about your past. I am a lady in my 60s and I wish that many young men who think that they have nothing could benefit from listening to Podcast like this. In particular young people from minority groups that think there's nothing out there for them. Thank you and I hope everything goes well for you and your family.
Very insparational.
Dude Ian you are killing the Prisoncast game!!! Pumping out bangers one after after another keep up the hustle bro!! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks guys I appreciate it
He truly is...no bravado nothing but great conversation he does not talk over his guest and ask the questions we wanna know
This guy looks like the dude from "The Hangover"
So wha you meant to say is he looks like bradley cooper
@@Edward.Rippett. yes b-rad coop thanks, couldn't think of his name.

Loving these episodes Ian! 🙏🏼
I don’t know how you popped up on my page but gotta tell you this guy is articulate humble handsome and really seems very likable good choice as a guest .. he is gonna be just fine . Don’t know him but if you see him again , tell him well done and much respect . And wish him all the very best. I don’t think he needs my respect but he’s got it
This was great! So happy to see people gain success after trauma and heartache.
What a amazing story. I just forwarded it to my son. Love your channel ❤ I live in the next town south, from this guy.
Thank you for watching
Great job Ian, love your content thank you!!!
Thanks brother
WOW Great interview Ian..Keep up the good work!! Dude definitely has a Crazy story ..
Thanks! I appreciate it
I felt that when he said he was in prision watching his buddy win MVP
Man, sad story. Just goes to show how important it is to have/be close with friends and family. If he could have just gotten some help his mlb career could have been great. Good to see he’s thriving now.
His so honest and humble. I’m shocked after everything his been thru he still has a great a positive mindset and outlook. He will be a great mentor for other going thru what his been thru. Congratulations to him for achieving freedom from addiction..his story show there is still hope for everyone. God is good
Amazing interview!!!
Thank you!
This is your best interview I've seen thus far good job
Thanks so much!!
Hey Ian I just subscribed tonight but I've been watching your stuff for a few weeks and I definitely enjoy your show!! Not trying to be argumentative with the other posters but I don't feel that you talk over anyone and do a solid job!!!
Wow. His story is somewhat similar to mine. I got involved in music and had a somewhat successful career. I worked and partied with famous people and thought the party would never end. My entire identity was wrapped up in music. One day it was all gone, and I couldn't find a way to cope. I blew through $11K in less than two weeks myself once. I eventually ended up homeless and strung out before my own mother called the police on me and got me locked up. Thankfully I avoided prison, but that was what I needed to get my life together. I was angry at her for a long time, but she did the right thing, and eventually I realized that. There was no other way to get through to me at the time.
Hey failed music producer here struggling to cope with where I put myself in life and blowing through 30k. I’m also blaming my dad a lot. Your story resonated w me, any advice
I don't know if this will help but I was messed up for about 8 years and until I stoped blaming and realized its up to me and no one else to either succeed or fail I did not start to get better@@Lil_OD561
Best wishes and prayers for this guy! Thanks
One of the real ones. Rashawn did the same exact thing when I was doing time with him. Luckily most of the time they let him be but after so many months, they’d try to force him out the gate to work. He would just respectfully say no and put his hands behind his back.
For me, I was working in Arcadia and I said something to a free world car that honked at me.
30 days in the box.
I got out and refused to work but I just kept going to medical until they finally gave up and I got passes to where they couldn’t put me out the gate.
I wasn’t about to work for free anymore when they put me in the box which also ruined my chance of getting work release.
To Ian: mad props for this channel. It’s a great podcast and I’m looking forward to your content.
I did time at the place they had Epstein. They had him in the box area next to T which was the dorm you to before you start a sentence in a program called the Drug Farm which was a boot camp in WPB stockade county jail.
Sheriff Bradshaw shut it down unfortunately. It was helping a lot of people.
Great episode 💯💯
Always bringing great guests! 🔥
Thanks!!
Another good one 🔥
Ian. This podcast is AMAZING. I love your mentality. You have such a curious and unique passion and perspective on every single guests experience. I love that your doing more addiction interviews. I am a recovering heroin addict myself so this podcast has REALLY helped me. Thank you so much for the awesome content. Keep it up, I recommend this to all my friends.

Love the content your going to go far and do great things. I was a c/o for 10 years and a sgt for my last 5 years in NC. I had to give it up.
The same prison that jumpsuit Pablo was in? Or was he SC?
He was in SC
I feel ya. Hard to have a home life with all that mandatory o.t. NC hands out.
This has been my favorite episode so far. And I would’ve guessed he’s in his early 30s! He looks really good!
Thanks!!! I agree
This was a helluva episode!! ❤
Glad you enjoyed!
This guy has solid recovery knowledge. You really don’t have a drug problem you have a spiritual problem that you use drugs to treat. Seems like a good guy.
Ian,,I'm so proud of you for being you and doing so well!! ANOTHER great podcast!! Keep them coming ,,God bless you!
Appreciate you❤️
Perfect timing, I just finished binge listening to all the other episodes!

I loved seeing him loosen up a bit more towards the second half of the interview. I could’ve watched another hour of this interview.

This guy could be Bradley Cooper's stunt double, great interview Ian!
This was a great episode
God damn 6'3" lefty he could have went far with the Braves.
Great episode
Great show
Danny was awesome! Best of luck brother!!
This dude is Bradley coopers brother. 😂
Wow what a story the stuff he's been through and surprised he's alive to tell it I cry when I stub my toe can't imagine going through all that.
They should make a movie about this guy.
I moved to Mexico and now Guatemala. I’ve volunteered at hostels in tel major cities and I’ve always been hired by how I carry myself and they don’t me by my past.
I recently got my first apartment and there was no lease needed. It’s all inclusive for about $450 a month.
The medical care here and Mexico is much better than in the USA.
My apt would cost $3k or so a month in South FL or Austin which I wouldn’t even be allowed to rent anyway because I’ve never passed the application fee and background check and all that so I love it here. I’m so glad I moved out of the United States. There’s no homeless people here I’ve been in everywhere, and there’s very very very few people without Houses, meanwhile the USA countless homeless veterans they signed up for their country with the risk of their lives and they come back and need charities like the wounded warrior foundation to take care of instead of the government do you have a $900 billion budget goes to defense contractors. It’s so nice to live in the country where there’s more equality Freedom.
And I’m so glad I came across this because I just sent you an email Dani and I’m gonna be an investor containing luxury as of tomorrow thinking I’m gonna probably invest $2,500 that I made from Facebook.
I live a simple life. All I need is my backpack, a bed to sleep in and food.
Took me a whole year of trying to get paid by them, but it finally happened after I switched checking accounts. I was able to pay off $18,000 in credit card debt. Donate to a foundation that help me my friend Sam Sam Rizzo died in Lake Worth. Florida was murdered by a young kid and his fiancé set up a foundation that helped me when I moved to Austin with my rent for a couple weeks rent.
And I was able to make a donation to the inside books project for Texas. The high I get from giving his like none other.
And if you just asked me a year ago, I thought this podcast would work. I would’ve thought the same thing that it would but you’re doing the damn thing congrats 🍾🎉🎊
My gosh this interview is amazing! I finally got to listen to the full episode and this is probably one of my top favorites now. After seeing a short clip of it that touched a bit on psychology and his childhood and how that contributed to his story. So good! Great job Ian! ❤
Also, yes on the therapy thing! Therapy is good for EVERYONE to go through at least once in their life. Just having someone to talk to and a different perspective on things is so helpful. Yes this coming from an upcoming licensed therapist 😉
Thanks so much!!! Just wait till out next one! You’ll love it. Congrats on the license!
Well I don’t have it yet BUT I’m workin on it! 😆😬 its a big process, but will get there! In the mean time I’ll look forward to the next one! 😉

Such a good pod this episode.
Agreed
Daniel spot on 💯 unresolved childhood trauma. Let the world know bro. It 💯 is what leads to kids drinking and smoking weed early. Adults u ever see 👀 something u even suspect REPORT IT TO GET THE KID HELP...EVEN IF YOU ARE WRONG!!!
Great Podcast Ian & Danny! Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed this and Everything Ian puts out he has a "knack" for putting his guest in the hot seat and Always has. Great questions. Trust & Believe. That's how we ALL learn from thats nvr been there. Yet the part that hit me the most was the ending. It's not where we start it's how we change, grow & finish. Danny I commend You! 💯 Your doing a Great job honestly I Iive & see it everyday as a APRN. I believe in chances 2nd & yes even 3rds after that help is needed and it's Not jail. Just my 2 cents. Thank You Ian for another eye opening podcast. Much ❤️ and Appreciate All Your hard work you do. 💯🙏
Thank you for the kind words and support.

Great story, definitely changed more than 10 lives. Thank you for sharing
Felony charge COMPLETELY DEBILITATE the person for renting and apartment or finding a job. Its insane.

Ian, I remember when you announced this podcast on TikTok, I subscribed to the page but had no idea what to expect.. you seriously blew it out of the water. Next year im taking a class in a jail with 1/2 students and 1/2 inmates. Listening to these stories really pushed me to go for it!!!

Great video and interview. I have loved your podcast recently but something that I think you could work on is not putting words in their mouth. Sometimes when your interviewee has been struggling to find their word you speak for them. I suggest you either wait a little longer or ask them if the word they are for is "..." I love your growing podcast and keep it up.
Thanks man! I’ll get there, it’s a learning process for sure

Addiction doesn’t discriminate…keep sharing these stories and bringing awareness to addiction, mental health, prison reform, the justice system, and a lot more
I laughed out loud when you guys were talking about M.I.P.’s…
In Michigan, a M.I.P. is: Minor In Possession. Meaning alcohol…
Then you guys are all… Did you see or come to knowledge of any M.I.P’s doing your time? I’m thinking… Did Ian just say that?! Then Danny says… OH! You talkin’ murdered in prison…
I’m thinking, DAYM!!
I guess things really do very state to state. 😂
