I have a life, so it took 3 days to watch this but what a joy it was. The authenticity, storytelling, and humor made it such a joy. I also really appreciated how the interviewer got out of the way and let the guest shine. I have no idea what the other content is on this channel, but just on the pleasure received from this I 'liked' and 'subscribed'.

I like this guy. I have family in Springfield. In 1994 my father had to go on the lamb and he went to Springfield. He opened a restaurant downtown on Chestnut. We drove there for Easter as a teenager and he had more rackets going there than he ever had here in New York. He got pinched and brought back to NY not long after. He still says until this day that if he never got pinched, he would’ve made millions in that dumpy diner in Springfield.

My family came from Springfield. Grandpa had a gas station/mechanic shop there called Vins Esso. My family kept me away from grandpas brothers though and the only time i heard of them was when my dad got a couple answering machine messages asking him to give funeral services for family i didn't know i had... Ive always been curious about grandpas brothers and their families but who knows where to look and what to ask... only thing i see was two of them got in trouble in 76 and they found 133k in their house and tried to use that as evidence of book keeping type stuff...
