You mentioned Bartsharp in one of your videos a few months ago. As I was looking for an airbrush and compressor at that time I checked out their website. I bought a 130 airbrush and a small compressor for a lot less than some of the airbrushes I had been looking at. So far I have not had any problems with either piece of equipment. Fully recommended and thanks for putting me on to them.
Good observations about paint. My hobby, tamiya or AK real color paints all spray so easily, but Ammo and AK acrylics can be tricky. I find thinning them (even if they say airbrush ready,) helps , but if I am not careful I get pebble effect . I know they say to use thin coats of paint but I get impatient lol. Good test of the Bart Sharpe airbrush. Keep up the good work
Great review and performance test 👍 And I love the fact that you used the Spitfire for demonstration 🥰 "Never was so much owed by so many to so few"🦅 Greetings from Greenwich London ⚓️👁💂♂️🏰🐎🎩☔️. 🍷
I've been using a 180s for a few months now (2mm needle setup) and I cannot fault it at all. It beats my Harder & Steenbeck Evolution and cost less than 1/3 of the price.
@ AlexModeling Yep, I always thoroughly clean my AB after each use. The 180 is less fickle than the Evo, but the trigger action is not as smooth. It's far from bad though!
Nice work ✌️👍😊 How did the Bartshop 186 compare to say a Gunze Sangyo PS270 Platinum airbrush? Also how easy are they to clean, is the nozzle and needle like Eg an Iwata or more like a Harder and Steenbeck or a Paasche? Many thanks ✌️👍😊
Hi Alex, there’s a specific reason to use 133 for primer and 186 for paints? 186 cannot do both jobs? Many thanks for all yours videos: I like it! Ciao
It looks very cool but i have an infinity cr+ and an évolution they are awsome but if i change i think it s a good solution thank you for the demonstration👍
Привет Алекс! Я тоже пользуюсь 3-мя аэрограф ами очень удобно! Один для грунтовки, второй для основного цвета, а третий с соплом 0,2 для тонких работ 👍😂
I want to upgrade from the 180 to the 186, after 5 years the 180 is ready for a new set of seals, which I will do shortly, but I really want one with multiple cups, and I like the new nozzle too!
@@Drewsmodels I have the old Veda 180 from Bartshop, and it's great, but I do like the new nozzle design, along with multiple cups. I will check if the new tip will fit the old frame when I order the new seals, wouldn't that be great!
I can ONLY give you my opinion and ONLY that! I have both... And both are a work horse. The ONLY diference os the price. But for me both are workhorses and oerform até the same level
Bartsharp has its own compressors also. I don t have the link here on this vídeo but on my most recent videos i have the link for the one i AM using. Again, i am sponsored by them but i really like theyr hardware. Click on my link and check them out of you will. Thanks
1 problem with painting the spitfire with an airbrush is with the soft edges it looks sprayed, the real thing was painted with masks and stencils and had sharp lines
Some apita WERE INDEED Sharp... But other were SOFT Edge línes... And that depended on WHO painted the spit... There were stencils but each painter used it on deferente ways... Researched it and you will find that out
I was on vacation in the algarve, brought my airbrush (ultra) and a kit, i don't know why my primer aki primer and microfiller and the acrylic interior green simply flaked away. Having begun using laquers recently there is no going back for me rn
And to BE honest and Airbrush don t hold up if you don t clean it and maintained it working... If you must Paint clean base type.... If corse but even a master AB Will not perform whan that happends
Don't hold up in what way? I have a Veda 120 (Bartsharp took over Veda, or something like that) that I got a few years ago. It still works absolutely just fine. I have replaced 1 needle packing and a nozzle. I broke the nozzle it wasn't at fault. I will be getting the 186 as well.

What a video. Thank you for posting, great job!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Excellent channel. I have the Tamiya Spitfire and cannot wait to get stuck in (although I'm a little wary of working with PE!). Keep it up! Dan

Greetings from Portugal. And thank you for that English generation of Young heros
Thanks for this review. I’ve been looking at these airbrushes for a while now but was unsure as I don’t know anybody using them. 👍🏼

@@xjrthirteen they perform at the same level as a Neo... Not the same but steady até that level... Remember... Always clean your AB

Was looking at the 183K yesterday, I like the spare needles of different sizes. Very handy
Yes they are! And they work fast and well if you want a spare part
Very nice video review 👍
Building this kit right now. I have to repaint mine because I ran into issues with my airbrush and using blue tack for masking
Use white Tak, the blue stuff leave an oil behind
Montague Flange thank you, it also left behind raised areas of paint

You can use 186 or 180 to primer .. i just wanted to use the One with the jarr ☺️

Can you use enamal paints with an airbrush?
Yes if welll diluted with enamel thineer
you can use tamya laquer with ak paints.
I know... I wanted to test these Airbrushes all acrilic
I never said i couldnt right?
After watching your 2 video's I wanted to buy the 186. But on BARTSHARPS site they are OUT OF STOCK! I'm so disappointed. 21st June 2020.
These look more in the line of Master airbrushes from China, which for the price, they do the job, they just don't hold up that well!
