We are in Alicante, Spain and giving you our first impressions of this city along the Costa Blanca coast! With it's impressive and beautiful promenade along the water, Alicante impressed us from first glance. We also take our first discount airline flight with Ryanair to get us to Alicante, so we share our impressions of that experience as well. It was New Years Eve the day after we arrived in the city, so we take you along to experience how the celebrations look in this coastal city.

We flew Ryanair from Spain to Morocco and back on our trip. Other than complete check in chaos in Marrakesh (which is totally a Morocco thing) it was great. Nice plans nice crew. We did have to be a bit pushy about our priority boarding too but not issues. Especially for the cost!

Yes, especially for the price is right!! We believe that anyone with cabin bags gets “priority” boarding, which is most of the plane 😂. We will definitely use them again though.

@@TravelwithStuH omg that’s so cool! It’s so different for us coming from Canada. We can’t even do a day trip to other side of the country 😂

Another great video and with a town high on our list, if only the Schengen would allow 180 days , we had a few friends tour both Portugal and Spain together last year and when asked their preference both gave Spain a slight edge. What are your thought ?

Hello, yes we agree with more time in the Schengen area! We spent 2 months in Portugal and 1 month in Spain. They were both great, however we really loved Portugal! We will definitely go back to both of them! Check out our videos on Denia Spain, as we really enjoyed our time there as well. Thanks for watching! Cheers!

Are you sure it was the best new years? I remember a mc retirement party 😂

That was a pretty Mcfreakin’ good time!! However, not having to work on NYE or worry about work the next morning, hits extra McSpecial!

When I saw the title of this video I said to myself ‘they are getting round that coast fast’ but then you cheated by taking a flight! Ryanair are ok as long as you follow all the rules strictly. If you don’t it can become costly. Enjoy Alicante!

Hahaha - yes we only have three months in Europe Peter, so we opted for the flight to get us to the Costa Blanca coast! We were following the rules strictly, and have heard that it can be expensive just for not having your boarding pass printed, So, we were surprised when the printed pass was not required and when no one weighed or measured our baggage. All in all a fine experience and we will definitely use them again!
