    I have seen many tourists dying of High altitude pulmonary edema and High altitude cerebral edema each season.One should never plan a short trip to leh Ladakh.....it may turn life threatening . Travelling to leh Ladakh isn't risk free.So plz plz get properly acclaimatise....it takes alleast three to five days in leh to get acclaimatise.

      What if I go reach to leh stay for that night & next night. Then come to sissu. Will it be a problem?

    And tourists should avoid telephonic consulting from there family doctors in plains for any medical issues in Leh . High' altitude symptoms may start as minor symptoms like cough and headache.There symptoms may worsen as they keep taking anticold etc and by the time they land in hospitals it's too late

    Obese, elderly and people with medical issues should avoid visiting to leh
