Thanks Tom - my thinking for some reason is that the khaki color looks a little better in warmer weather, and i'd go for a darker chinos like navy, grey, brown or black. I'd also go with a sport coat for more warmth while looking good. Nice shoe ideas.
Thanks! I like khakis year round since it contrasts great with navy blue up top. White or light blue with khaki is definitely more of a warm weather look.
Great rundown. Thanks! I work in an engineering office. Our "business casual" is probably a step down to a step and a half below these. I have been tending to lean into the dressier side of the office as of late stopping just short of the sport coat. Really like your takes.
I’m a blue-collar dude that attempts to be sharp when I may. This is still interesting to me. I’d have never imagined a blue button up shirt nor polished shoes for casual. I’d at least thought some nice flat finished Oxfords. Why not such? Genuine question. (I’m on the outside looking in). Flat black Oxfords are awesome. Pants….yes. Absolutely not at all ‘sloppy’ even when business casual is in effect. Even I (again, blue collar) would know better. Heheh! Even as a blue-collar guy, yes, gentleman. Chinos in your ‘arsenal’ matter, grab a few! And, yes, match your shoes and belt. It’s easy. Business casual dudes can do it…so may we! Easy, guys. Easy! Sweater advice matters yet again! A thick, workman-like sweater with a Henley or other such underneath garment that is complementary and attractive with your outer garment minus the sweater. Good stuff. See? Again….even us regular dudes can learn from those who work white-collar hemispheres! Don’t be afraid of the colors of your shoes! They don’t all have to be black this and that. Don’t forget that sport coat, blue-collar brothers….hey…looks outstanding and wins over all when on a date! Even if it’s a more casual and loose, unconstructed. You’re gonna be a few points up, guys. Don’t worry as much about fit blue-collar guys but do NOT ignore it! See? Easy! Well worth looking into and listening about stuff ya imagine is not about you. Not true! Cheers, every gentleman!

Thank you! Sounds like you have the perfect mix of nailing the casual outfits, without overdoing it.
Great video and choices Tom!
Thanks Chris!
Additionally, what brand chinos are you wearing?
Banana republic rapid movement chinos in slim fit, I did not size up in the waist (in Levi’s 511 I have to size up in the waist for a good fit).
