Great Series! Love the creativity and can only imagine the hours you put into it. Awesome to see Tim Richmond having a fulfilling career. Do wish Davey Allison was getting a little more than he is.
Absolutely Magic!!!! This has been absolutely insane to watch, and I love every single second of it, the groundbreaking ideas in this series is straight up perfect, plus the way you explain everything and commentate on the big moments really ties it all together. Also, great job on the big feel you gave atlanta, it looks perfect for what your going for, and I can't wait to see what comes next for 1999! (ps, whenever you get to 2003, if you need more help painting, I would love to help paint, as i've had a lot of experience on the SNG Cup_0305 mod, but please don't think im trying to compliment so you'd think of me better, I just thought i'd offer!) Keep up the AMAZING work you do!
Sad that I missed the premiere, but THIS IS ART! 1998 is yet another banger of this series, from Bill Lester becoming the first African American driver to win a title, to Shawna Robinson winning the Winston Cup! I’m so happy that this series has gotten this far and the effort that you put in when it first started. Thank you Alex so much and I can’t wait for 1999 and beyond. And like you said before, Speed Reigns Supreme.
In real life Willy T Ribbs won races in Trans-AM and IMSA...and raced in the Indy 500, I'm guessing he still accomplishes that in this timeline too, and then finds the stock GT series appealing, also this timeline actually gets that NASCAR LR Series.
By 2001 in this timeline,Dale Earnhardt wins three straight Daytona 500s and wins the 2000 championship. Earnhardt never loses his life in the Daytona 500,and he races until 2003. His replacement is Jeff Burton.
for the 2004 season, Dale Earnhardt decided to go road racing at the IMSA Kodak Stock GT series as an owner-driver in the #3 car, taking GM Goodwrench with as the primary sponsor. he will continue to do so until he hangs up his helmet for good after 2008, 09 or 2010. but, also due to age. as for who will replace him as the full-time driver/successor, Earnhardt signed a Formula 1 star as the NEW driver in the #3 car and to run ROTY. 🙂
not true. Burton will drive the #3 car full-time in 2004. Dale Earnhardt decided to go road racing, by joining the IMSA Kodak Stock GT series as an owner-driver for DEI in the #3 car, taking GM Goodwrench with as the primary sponsor, and continue to do so until he retires in either after 2009 or 2010 due to age.
@@Boggs1993 That's nice. But didn't you say that Earnhardt would sign a Formula 1 driver as the new full time driver for the 3 car in 2004 and run for ROTY? I'm so confused. Which is which?
I enjoyed Sunday Night Lights 1998. I’m looking forward to 1999. In 1999: Will Adam Petty run full-time in the Truck series? Does Dale Earnhardt Jr Move to cup in 1999 with Wrangler as the sponsor? Will we see new drivers and teams in the Stock Gt and Super Sportsman, and will it be the final season for the Cup90 mod for those 2 series before switching to Cup98 in 2000?
So...Bobby Allison is waiting for more manufacture support to consider bringing his team back? So maybe he brings the team back when Dodge returns to Cup? And who replaces Tim Richmond? Could Jeff Gordon end up at Hendrick after all!? But not in the 51 that would be so cursed!
if Bobby Allison Racing wants to make a full-time return to the Winston cup series as a 2-car program again, it better be a LOTS of manufacture support with either Pontiac or Dodge and the team may do so by either 1999 or 2000.
Todd Bodine didn't do so well in the 35 Tabasco Pontiac in 1998 as he did in real life. However, while I'm sure some parts of the fiasco probably still occured in SNL, like Tabasco promoting the team like hot sauce as well as printing a NASCAR Tabasco hot sauce recipe cookbook, I don't think it went to the far extreme that it did in real life, considering the team made more races than they did in real life, even without Darrell Waltrip and Chevrolet involved. Plus, the 1998 SNL Pontiacs were not the slow unreliable third tier car that the real life 1998 Pontiacs saw, since SABCO Racing has given the manufactuer a bit of a boost, thanks to Kyle Petty's 7 win season and Shawna Robinson's 1998 championship. In fact, I feel like Chevrolet not picking up Jeff Gordon made the Chevys kind of a bit weaker and slower.
Hey, I got a quick question-- there were some cars in the Busch 1998 season, such as Grant Adcox's #85 RedCell car, Jeremy Mayfield's #95, Glenn Allen Jr's #99 and Kevin LePage's #88, that I couldn't find in my GNS98 mod. You think you could possibly make them available for download soon?
@@GraySpeedProductions and because Ricky Craven left the 37, kranefuss Haas also closed their cup program. They’re still operating the stock GT program.
This Might Be A Stupid Question, But Are You Gonna Use The Cup2000 Mod For 1999, Or Are You Gonna Use The Cup98 Mod. This Question Mainly Is Directed To The Cup Series
In this world Jeff Gordon is having a Kasey Kahne like career.

Noah Gragson has a twin sister. Maybe they race against each other in this timeline...

Sunday Night Lights is better than real life NASCAR. But I am still gonna watch.
