Yeah you're right. Isn't it sad how most final boss fights are horribly easy compared to the boss right before it? Now bosses back in the old days were the stuff to fear.
Aumaan chose me. By fusing Anubis, Aumaan can become real. Look! The perfect fusion of Metatron! The destruction to end All! I suggest using zero-shift. You wretch! lol
Well, Kojima is actually just a designer. I did a little research and I was right. Most of this game's music was composed by Norihiko Hibino, who also did work for Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3.
Actually, I've replayed the game so many time, that I was happy to find this! So like you I didn't it on the very first time after playing it like two or more times, I've amused myself to find different way to destroy Anubis! :3
I love the moment when you need to Finish Aumaan Anubis.... I've charged the energy orb at its max and thrown it to Anubis! Dingo said at this very moment: EAT THIS!
yea this song ROCKS, and even more when ur doing the fight. And yea, it can be easy fight if you know how to do it, but if ur just doing normal attacks, it can kick ur butt.
well yeah that would explain why a lot of the songs sound similar like this one sounds like a mix of the "takin' on the shagohod" from mgs3 and a bit of the Solidus battle music at the end of mgs2, nevertheless its amazing :)
@Ebb1993isgreat You used the long distance Burst Attack didn't you? I prefer the Burst Slash! *BURST SLASH* Dingo: It's all over! Nohman: Geeeeeagh!!! *Anubis explodes*
A lot of people equate this song to stuff in MGS2. While that's a fair assessment, I think it sounds more like a song from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. th-cam.com/video/0ai3wCTLHx0/w-d-xo.html Obviously different composition, but still very similar.
"all of a sudden, I'm playing Metal Gear Solid 2 all over again."
At 0:40-0:44 they are quoting Mars, from the well-known orchestral suite Planets, by Gustav Holst.
Mind=blown
This song sometimes really sounds like father and son from MGS2(Final fight against Solidus Snake)
Yup I believe it was 100% intentional and that they are the same universe everything down to the text and sound design in the menus is identical.
Sounds more like mgs3 especially the trumpets' style
Yeah you're right. Isn't it sad how most final boss fights are horribly easy compared to the boss right before it? Now bosses back in the old days were the stuff to fear.
Gaia from battle arena toshinden.
Magician from House of the dead
Wild dog from time crisis
Dude we need to make a list there's quite a lot.
@@UtubeH8trCerberus - Devil May Cry 3. Griffon - Devil May Cry 🤘
I felt that too, at least with Metal Gear Solid 2's soundtrack.
ZOE CONFIRMED AS CANON FOR METAL GEAR.
"Look the perfect fusion of metatron, the destruction of all"
battle starts
Zero shift ready
MGS3 taking on the shagohod + MGS2 father and son + MGS2 VR missions themes = THIS!
This sounds like a remix version of "Father and Son" (Raiden vs Solidus) from MGS 2
"Good work Jack, but this is only the beginning....." *Solidus jettison his robot arms*
If I didn't know, I would've thought it from MGS2.
both OSTs use the same or a very similar soundfont I think
and same composer
Phyllion heh yeah that'd probably go a long way in making it sound similar too
Im certain the guitar riff at 2:03 plays in the Solidus OST.
It has pretty much resenblance to every final boss sound on MGS... Nice work, Kojima xD
A lot of comparisons to be found here with "Takin on the Shagohod" from MGS3
Yes
.....Holy sh*t sounds like Volgin's theme o_o
Never reallised till now....
Oh shit the insanity this is gonna be in VR from cockpit view.
Aumaan chose me. By fusing Anubis, Aumaan can become real.
Look! The perfect fusion of Metatron! The destruction to end All!
I suggest using zero-shift.
You wretch!
lol
One of the best and my personal favorite best animated game that came out on the PlayStation 2 love this game
One of the best games of all time on PURE GAMEPLAY!!!
Well, Kojima is actually just a designer.
I did a little research and I was right. Most of this game's music was composed by Norihiko Hibino, who also did work for Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3.
damn the begining of the song makes Anubis sooo badass, just that beat. Its an intense song, hes a pain in the ass to beat.
This remind me of MGS2 but also mgs 3 Volgin boss
Actually, I've replayed the game so many time, that I was happy to find this! So like you I didn't it on the very first time after playing it like two or more times, I've amused myself to find different way to destroy Anubis! :3
Reminds me of Father and Son from MGS2
I missed my moment of awesome the first time. I did a regular slash expecting more than one hit. If I had known, I would've done what you did.
The intro kinda reminds me of Ernst from Ys.
yeah same sample lol
I love the moment when you need to Finish Aumaan Anubis....
I've charged the energy orb at its max and thrown it to Anubis!
Dingo said at this very moment: EAT THIS!
KOI, DINGO!
nohman in his madness thinks Aumaan is something like a god that will destroy everything with the power of metatron
this is the best song ever, the start is amazing!!!
Anubis felt that vibe when he heard this too, it goes to your head you know.
This sounds like a hybrid of Black Banquet and Father and Son. With their respective awesomeness turned up to eleven.
yea this song ROCKS, and even more when ur doing the fight. And yea, it can be easy fight if you know how to do it, but if ur just doing normal attacks, it can kick ur butt.
@DarkX64
*LONG RANGE BURST*
Dingo: EAT THIS!!!!!
Nohman: geahhhh!!!!
Ha, wow. The song started exactly like the Ernst fight song in Ys: The Ark of Napishtim.
CANT WAIT FOR ZOE3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So how's that waiting been treating you? =)

this is how Father And Son sould be
I don't think many people pay attention to the first anubis fight theme, in my opinion its better than this one
Ahahahah that's hilarious! xD
I can just imagine an angry mother making a PS2 asplode with her broom of doom.
@Ebb1993isgreat Dingo: On my last mission, you sacrificed us. Understand!?!? You killed my comrades! >:O
"There!", "Die!", "Aaaaargh"
well yeah that would explain why a lot of the songs sound similar like this one sounds like a mix of the "takin' on the shagohod" from mgs3 and a bit of the Solidus battle music at the end of mgs2, nevertheless its amazing :)
I SWEAR...I heard something like that in Snake Eater...
@Ebb1993isgreat You used the long distance Burst Attack didn't you? I prefer the Burst Slash!
*BURST SLASH*
Dingo: It's all over!
Nohman: Geeeeeagh!!! *Anubis explodes*
Yes. The last battle is similar to Transformers Cybertron.
i rember the bit were jehuty grabs half of anubis and throws i would of loved to heere this before that FINISH HIM!!
Sound a lot like mgs2 theme a bit huh?
to me, at least, reminds me to the final boss theme in MGS2
Does this sound similar to the shagohod thene from mgs3?
Anyone else think this'd suit Hollow Ichigo's first appearance against Ulquiorra?
@hydremajor yepz, the shagohod theme is a little similar to this one, just a little
@Kojiben That would make sense...
@yokusa900 He's still a Hollow ._. I know he;s a Vasto Lorde now.
genius
sounds a bit like the rex battle from metal gear solid twin snakes.
@Ebb1993isgreat ADA: I...was built...to destroy...all.
Does this sound like Metal Gear music to anyone else? It's the same composer if I'm not mistaken?
I swear my favorite part is at 1:42. So epic.
It's not that Anubis is slower in this fight, is that YOU are faster!!
This fight is almost impossible with damaged Jehuty
A lot of people equate this song to stuff in MGS2. While that's a fair assessment, I think it sounds more like a song from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
th-cam.com/video/0ai3wCTLHx0/w-d-xo.html
Obviously different composition, but still very similar.
This fight makes Sonic games a joke with Chaos Control. Zero Shift is superior and the fight is fun on Hard.
Agent Smith?
I get the same feeling...strange huh?
sounds kinda like volgin's theme
indeed, also 1:08 is very MGS2-y
Hey this sounds like something from metal gear!...ohwait...
Now the real question is... Who or what is Aumaan?
why does this make me want to take over the world?
