Thanks for the time! And for not being too twisted about calibration. Of course they should have it calibrated from factory though. We’re thinking about getting this saw.
Hey thanks for watching! It's a sweet saw. Every time I pull it out someone makes a "how cute" comment but it doesn't take long before they want one too haha.
Sorry for the delayed reply. That is a great point I missed! On the opposite side of the screw in the middle of the blade there is a small black metal button that you press as you unscrew the blade and it'll engage the lock.
Hmm that's a new one. Does the light illuminate? If it's bright out and the sun is on you it can be difficult to see but as you get closer to the material it shows up...
I have the same saw it’s been great except for one thing. The fence isn’t square to the deck and there’s no adjustment for that that I’ve found. So cutting anything vertically is a problem
You mean the welded fence to deck connection isn't square, so when you put a square on the deck it's not square with the fence? Yeah that's a non-adjustable and worth chasing down the warranty. We have a local shop that helps with that or I've contacted them directly in the past for warranty things.
@@craftedbyjakehhi I’ve been using it for years now just being aware of its limitations. I doubt they give me a warranty at this point but I guess it could be worth a shot

First gen tundra spotted! Damn fine truck!
Haha good spot. She's a beaut over 300k miles too.
@@craftedbyjakehhi she just got broken in. Mine is at 250,000, running perfectly.
Hi! Great video. I purchased a used one, and it didn't have the manual. How do you lock the blade to change it?

I can't seem to get shadow light working. I only see two lights on each side of the blade which do not cast the shadow of the blade

I like your style
