My goodness. With less than one month to go before BT17, it's time to review over these cards and prepare you for the different archetypes you'll be experiencing. My methodology this time is breaking down the set by movies, so if you have a particularly favorite movie, don't worry it's on its way!
For the final video it's down to all the Digimon Seeker cards! And honestly this one has me excited the most! I love Dorugoramon cards and there are some really nice ones here to also go with our SOC characters!

Bt 17 is definitely a good conclusion Seekers are of decks. And looking forward for bt 18(or mostly Ex 7) and onwards for the Liberator era.
Seekers made Dark animal as a trait more relevant. Have Numemon being tier 0( but would say it is because of the X-antibody cards). D-brigade getting new members and waves of support.
Ryudamon line being a standalone-ish independent deck.
Getting the first and presumably only Sr Megadramon.
Revamped the Pulsemon lines deck.
And made Dex deck good.
Ryudamon still feels awkward ha ha. Out of all of them, I felt Dex, Looga and Digipolice got the best support. SOC isn't completely perfect but it has some good solid lines and cards. And of course there's Pulsemon. XD
Man! FenriLoogamon and Dex Digimon are getting some good support. I'm excited to rebuild and retool my DexDorugoramon deck. It's been too long since I've played it.
Considering they're all X-Antibody and SOC it's also pretty decent to splash potentially some of the cards in each other.
Tbf this blackagumon didnt need a line it was a plotpoint in seekers being the partner to professors daughter who was dmia in that blackagumon

DEX is a solid T 1.5 deck. It's not *as* busted as Numemon; Magna X; Ancient Garu or Imperal; but it can certainly put up a fight. It's probobly the best deck I wouldn't want to see hit on a banlist.
Agreed! I think right now the meta is starting to get a little stale on both sides. Will Bandai do something about it soon? We'll just have to wait and find out.
Already sharing a case for bt17 love this set. feels like bt12 kinda
Definitely does feel like BT12! Funny enough, BT9 was kind of the big set that dropped some new power cards that everyone thought was busted. 3 sets later, we got BT12. Now with BT17, if you reverse back 3 core sets, BT14 was kind of a soft reboot, but build up slowly over that same power with the digidestined, Apocalymon and even Magnamon X before going into the separation of different series again.
I'm really excited for not just the new FenriLoogamon cars but the new Dex Digimon. Not only giving destructive power but also protection for either your Dorugoramon deck or Alphamon. The new tamer definitely makes me want to get a copy of DeathXmon
Don't worry! DeathXmon is getting a reprint in the LM set tentatively along with being in Event Packs.
I'm really excited for the dexdoru stuff. It's a shame Takemikazuchi hasnt really done anything in jp. It's a cool card, but it's just hard to consistantly pull off.
My largest concern with the set at this point is that Numemon and Magnamon X continue seeing tops in JP. Interestingly, because Japan is a BO1 format, I'm curious if a BO3 increases the chances of these decks seeing tops.
@DIGI-PANDA Yeah, I have been reading a lot of people feeling unenthusiastic about the next few sets due to Nume particularly. I definitely get it, I'm a protag fanboy, so bt17 is still exciting for me, but I definitely don't share that enthusiasm for ex7 or bt18 nearly as much.
the use of hackers pride´s delay is to recover sec and also gain memory of the digivolve effects of the runnermon f.e
digivolve for 2, gain 1 back, regress back with the option to gain 2, nets you positive value and draw and makes sure you always have 1 sec to trash if needed
Interesting! It still feels like a lot of extra steps ha ha.
My only problem with Kazuchimon is that it is not a SoC, making it impossible to search for it with effects in the Fenriloogamon Deck

I mean you want it in the trash primarily so you would still use analog and mist memory to set up/dig through your deck for it. But I do get where you’re coming from

Alluding that although Leon belongs to "Abadin Electronics", his friendship with Eiji makes him have a connection with SoC
Realistically, @Frgt10Dreamer is right in that you use Analog Youth or Mist Memory Boost to get it into the trash. Otherwise, yes, it largely needs to be in the trash to function.
@@DIGI-PANDA The thing is, if Kazuchimon had SoC Trait. Then you could search and trash with Tyranomon and the SoC Option
Seekers fans eatin good, Digimon X evolution fans got nothings, I just really wanted an Alphamon ace lol

Alphamon gets a lot of protection too.
the agumon can help you keep turn if you play kosuke out of your digimon at the end of your turn lol

Presently, it looks like it's sitting at about $15 in JP. Which is fairly reasonable for a secret.
Taking into account the Hype + that the Pulsemon Deck is not expensive
Its price would only be maintained for the Fenriloogamon Deck
Can't wait for dexdoru, one of the only fun decks ever to come out from this horrible block.
I'm super excited for the Dex deck. A lot of the other decks feel scattered but that's assuming you're keeping up with the Digimon card game.
hm hacker's pride looks like the delay effect should be used to switch the line, since it pretty much goes in almost every color. not sure how useful that is tbh.
That's what had me scratching my head. I guess it helps you manipulate your security? But otherwise, I'd be more inclined to run it if there were Digimon with Pulsemon in their text that had security effects.

the ending is the same as chronicle or x evolution, poor pulsemon went from protagonist to sword.
Sadly, I don't feel like the writing at times goes well with stories. Good starts typically but either pacing or sidelining characters causes their series to go down in quality.

As a machinedramon player, I find the new Chaos a big disappointment.
I felt that way in BT15 when it said you couldn't digivolve off it unless it was into a white level 7 Digimon. BETRAYED!
machinedramon can survive SEC CON with the new chaosdramon lmao
Truuuue. The only downside. It doesn't digivolve off Machinedramon :( It can only be digixrosed with for a cost of 8.

I don't like Dorugoramon defeating Omnimon in the chronicle and I also don't like the role played by Omnimon in this story. the movie x evolution did a better job. Because the omnimon redemption about the actions
The X-Evolution movie was pretty decently honestly. Surprised it never got an English Dub.
